"The service is really good even if there still are quite a few rookies after the post-Covid start. It was half a lobster shell filled with sticky, melted cheese...."Read More

Review for Silver Moon to Baltic Sea

We choose this cruise as the ship was new and itinerary interesting as we had not seen several of the ports. The positive 1. New ship with good (not great) suites. Ship handles the seas well and is smooth 2. Lots of staff who are very polite 3. Multitude of dining options 4. Shuttle service in many cities 5. Good coffee, and cocktails. Typical low quality wines ...

Silver moon is brand new and very well designed. A rather bulky exterior makes for a very appealing and spaceous interior for the 600 guests. The standard cabin is large and held in light grey and beige nuances. Large and well appointed bathroom. Walk-in closet. Nice balcony. The public spaces, lounges and venues are varied, plenty and with a light, modern design. Super ambiance. The service is ...

A challenging 67 day cruise for me and the crew

Review for Silver Moon to South America

Grand Voyage experience, crew moral and hotel operations significantly improved under HD Marius’s direction compared to his predecessor who lacked experience. Pre cruise hotel stay at the Conrad were excellent. Transfer and embarkation were both time consuming and chaotic. It was hazardous from a Covid viewpoint due to lack of social distancing. The Silver Moon is a nicely designed ship with ...

Beautiful ship, spectacular Panama Canal; Covid is hurting cruising

Review for Silver Moon to South America

DH and I are experienced misc. luxury cruisers (though we have also tried Oceania, Celebrity, and Holland America), with no loyalty to any particular line. This 16-day Central America/Panama Canal cruise (originally planned to end in Peru, but changed a couple weeks before sailing due to Covid) was our first Moon cruise, though we had cruised with Silversea before on the older ships. We started ...

My wife and I last travelled with Silversea on the Whisper in late 2018. We have since had a number of bookings cancelled because of Covid. The itinerary for this cruise was changed at short notice because of the volcanic eruption on La Palma. One port of call was Arricefe on Lanzarote and for some reason we were bussed to a beach some miles from the port. This consisted of cheap souvenir shops ...

My wife and I booked to cruise with Silversea for 9 nights aboard Silver Moon, their newest ship, around the Greek Islands, Crete and Cyprus. We booked directly with the excellent help of Lawrence Taylor at Silversea with an offer, we could not ignore, of free BA, Club Europe, return flights and $1,000 onboard spend! This cruise was postponed a couple of times due to COVID restrictions so we were ...

Lots of positives, but one big let down

This was our first time with Silversea, and we booked late. This wouldn’t have been too much of a problem, but a day later SS was hit by the website system outage, and so we went into our holiday without a lot of key information. In fact, we went to the airport without anything except our online boarding pass for the flight! However, at the other end we were met as hoped for and the included ...

A Perfect Cruise

Hi everyone. We sailed with Silversea in 2017 and were disappointed. This year, we had booked a cruise on another comparable cruise line, but that trip was cancelled due to COVID. Our travel agent suggested going to the Greek islands, since Greece has made a real effort to be open to tourists this summer. He said that Silversea had a brand new ship; The Silver Moon. We said let’s give it a try ...

Wonderful new ship

It was so nice to resume traveling! This was only the third voyage for Silver Moon, and they were sailing at 50% capacity per EU protocols. The ship is beautiful! The suites are almost 400 sq. ft and the furnishings are very comfortable, including an excellent bed.. The bathroom is very nice and includes a large shower and a separate good size tub. The walk-in closet also has a 6 drawer ...
