I give this a 3 but some areas I would only give 2 Food Main restaurant Mostly Cold. When asked for the food hot, it was warmed up so that it was scalding. This was a daily occurrence until we stopped going into the dining room. The food looked nicely presented - just stone cold. Food Windjammer - Excellent always tasty. Some was a little repetitive Bar - not enough staff. waiting ...

This was my family's first cruise so we have nothing really to compare it to, however, we all LOVED this ship-its crew-the food-and the countries we visited. From day one, we were truly treated like guests. Our cabin steward Catherine-remembered all of our names (important) and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We loved the little towel creatures she created for us and the extra ...

We are residents of Florida and cruising is a hobby. We have been on numerous cruises and are Diamond Plus with Royal Caribbean. Ship is a decent size and has all the amenities that we require to have a great cruise. Staff is all about service. Suite concierge and wait staff in the concierge lounge where A1. It is sad that The Navigator Of The Seas can not get the disembarkation right. Crew is ...

Nice but Mediocre

We used Uber to get to the port of Miami. This service has proved invaluable to us as we have moved up in years. The driver lifts our bags into the car as well as at the port. The Uber driver arrived within 2 minutes of our call. We arrived at the port in approximately 20 minutes. There was a slight problem at the port because the the Uber driver argued with the porter about who should take ...

ORGANISATION OF ENTERTAINMENT NIL

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Sailing to MIami for my recently widowed friend to meet her son who lives in USA. So disappointed with the entertainment. I would like to know why we were crammed into and standing up for quizzes in the piano bar when this activity is so popular, when the Star bar was empty and loads of seating. There was line dancing which was so popular it was full, but this was only offered once or ...

Smoking allowed in the casino, you can smell it 3 decks up. Other cruise ship do not allow smoking in the casino. Last cruise on Celebrity we spent lot of time in the non smoking casino. Ship showing its age. Speakers on the ship extra loud we could not understand what they were saying. Food choices not so good, can you say ham, ham and more ham? Quality of food not that good I guess ...

No need to beat a dead horse. Read the reviews for Navigator Dec 4 and Dec 9 sailings. They pretty much sum things up. High points for me: price and ports and some ship staff. Low points: food, cleanliness and entertainment. My Jr. Suite had clean toilet water; my balcony stateroom had the water with particulates and floating black slime. Both rooms had stains on the couches and desk chair ...

A Terrible, Horrible, Not A Good Cruise Onboard Navigator of the Seas

If you're below the age of 60 you should think twice before booking one of these cruises in the low season. This was my 22nd cruise, and by far the most depressing experience so far. As I've tried many different cruise lines I've only achieved RCCL Platinum status, which isn't worth anything at all - not even a bottle of water. The itinerary seemed nice (Labadee, Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire) ...

We cruised with a family group of 10. Our immediate family of 6 had cruised before but we had 4 newbies. Embarkation went smoothly and we were on the ship by noonish. Everyone in our group had a great time despite our 20yr old dd getting bad motion sickness this time and our 22 yr old ds not listening to his mother and not putting on enough sun screen and drinking enough water. We found the sea ...

A good cruise but no WOW

We booked this cruise with friends from out of town. Both of us in D2 balcony cabins on same deck. We are not newbies to cruising or to Royal. (They are Diamond and we are one point from Emerald.) We had a really nice time and enjoyed the ports of call however both of us felt this cruise fell below our expectations and was average at best. The AC on the ship is set too high and even on the very ...
