My least favorite port of call on the trip. While the stone winding streets are adorable and the windmills are nice it was crazy busy and hard to walk anywhere due to the masses in port that day. Island is beautiful but honestly, we felt over-rated, especially if you are not a party harder. We did a beach day which was recommended by a taxi driver, the beach was beautiful and nice atmosphere (70EUR for 2 sun beds). The port of mykonos is actually about 15 minutes from mykonos town as the port is on the smaller side and we were a large ship we were tended in via the local boats but to complicate things it was very windy so it took quite a while to actually get into mykonos town Mykonos town is a hip and trendy place with loads of bars, restaurants and shops but prices to match!!!
