Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Cannot access the town by foot. You are required to pay for a shuttle or taxi, there is no complimentary service. The town doesn’t have much to do besides shop. It is quite a ways from Florence so also deceiving when listed as Florence on the itinerary. ...

Wow! Such a fun and relaxed port to visit. We hired a private guide to take my family on an all-day tour of the hill town of Volterra and the Bolgheri wine region. The countryside was amazing, Volterra was super-cool with it's fairy castle vibe while the small village of Bolgheri was a joy to shop and dine. We enjoyed a great lunch at a restaurant in Bolgheri then wine tasting at a local winery. ...

But our guide through ItalyTour.EU did her best to weave our way through and side streets around the town to see the most popular sites and find the best gelato. Then we had 3 hours on our own. No matter the crowds, Florence is not to be missed. Sometimes it included the Leaning Tower of Pisa, up to you, but its a 1/2 hour walk to get ...
