We chose this cruise for the itinerary primarily. Wanted to see Greece and Croatia without finding a way there and different places to stay. Cruising is the best of all those worlds. Plus we got to see 2 cities in Italy where the cruise began. Win-win.

Was very pleased with our cabin (#9254) and the overall ship. Ship was clean and was very visible they took effort in maintaining the cleanliness. Great food. Great pubs and bars. Entertainment was lots of fun. We don’t go for the ship to entertain us - we go for the ports and we had both!!! Great ports AND great fun on the ship!

MDR had excellent dinners. Windjammer had tons of selection. Any drink you asked for they made for you. Our favourite hangout was the R Bar in the Centrum. Always something going on there and great staff. They make a point of knowing your room number and know what you drink. They see you and they smile and a drink will appear!! We didn’t do any specialty dining. We don’t feel the need for it. Enough good food on board included in your trip cost. We didn’t see the shows in the theatre every night but the nights we did we had a great time. Lots of great music across the ship which we are partial to.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Our cabin #9254 was an “obstructed” view cabin. Last aft room on deck 9 on the port side. The obstruction was not a bother in the least. There’s an affixed ladder to right of the balcony and the balcony she’ll overhangs a bit on the left, but sitting in your chairs looking out is 100% free of obstruction. We were very very happy with it. Very quiet room as well. No noises above or below. Would recommend to anyone.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

We loved Dubrovnik! Did the wall walk - gorgeous views!! Enjoyed a beer and glass of wine along with gelato about half way through the walk. About 3/4 way through we made our way down to the water, went for a swim - was so nice! Beautiful blue water. After we walked around inside the fortified city and got lost within all the narrow corridors and stairs. Easily found our way back to Pile Gate. It was a fabulous day!!!

Mykonos

We were in old port by 830am wandering around the beautiful white washed streets and ally ways. Had breakfast in little Venice at Veranda. Was delish. Saw the old white church and the old wee little blue and white church by the water. Saw the windmills. Took lots of picture perfect photos. Loved old port. In the afternoon we took a local bus to Stefanos Beach and swam in the beautiful blue waters. Sand was nice. Water was crystal clear. A fabulous day!!

Santorini

Santorini lives up to the hype. It really is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. We took an excursion from our ship to Oia by coach bus. We knew it was going to be crowded so we were up in Oia taking breathtaking photos by 845am!! 2 hours is enough in Oia. Then it gets busy. Coach bus took us to Fira. Had drinks at V Lounge - amazing views of caldera, and really tasty cocktails. Wandered around the little streets and vendors. Had lunch at The Greeks Restaurant. Gyros were so good. Line up for gondola was too busy so we walked all the stairs down to tender. Was quite an adventure- but glad we did it!! Another fabulous day we’ll never forget.

Split

Split was amazing!!! We took a rickshaw around the palace so we could kind of see where we’re wanted to go. The golden gate is a beautiful area. And inside the palace is truly amazing. The old tombs and artifacts from the 3rd century is awing! We climbed the tower of the church and the view was spectacular! Red clay roofs with the blue waters. We ended our day with sangrias in the old square. Our last fabulous day abroad. Loved every minute of it.
