I wanted to try MSC and this seemed a good price for 12 days out of Southampton. Bad choice. With over 5,000 adults AND 1500 children but only 1700 staff, it was complete bedlam from embarkation to final day home. The staff were completely overworked and overwhelmed. Round UK cruise from Southampton. The ship is tired and has signs of wear and tear. The floor of the main pool deck is churned up. The metal trim in the dinner room ceilings are stained and rusted.
