We chose this cruise for the itinerary which was great. We enjoyed having two days in Rome prior to the cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and quickly.

We last sailed on Independence in July 2016, which we enjoyed thoroughly, hence the repeat visit. During the refurb in April 2018 RCCL added extra cabins to the ship, what a mistake! Staff - couldn't fault the staff for the most part they were exceptionally good.
Drinks – Royal Caribbean do a drinks package that covers everything up to the value of $14 a glass I had copious varieties of cocktails and all were included in my package. The system was very simple anything over the $14 they let you know in advance what it would cost and you just paid the top up.
