Cruised on multiple cruise lines, been on 3 Royal Caribbean cruises including cruise on Oasis of the Seas.
I must give five stars for the fantastic activities they offer, such as laser tag, ice skating, water slides, and boogie boarding. The staff overseeing these activities were truly amazing, and the pool deck lifeguards and water slide attendants were friendly and attentive.
Our balcony ...
Although it has been a while since we did a short cruise, we decided to do the 4 day Ensenada/Catalina Island run for a quick getaway. Unlike the 3 day weekend cruises, which are usually about the same price as the 4 day weekday cruise, the ship was not full of drunks and wild parties. The ship was in amazing shape and the crew was very friendly. Even with 3,685 passengers, out of a capacity of ...
This was our first cruise post-covid, and it didn't disappoint! This is also our first cruise traveling with our daughter, who celebrated her 5th birthday on board.
Start to finish, everything was perfect! We visited Coco Cay for our first time, and we're very impressed. We still enjoy Labadee, but we feel Coco Cay is our favorite. Plenty of activities to keep the littles entertained. We ...
Left out of Bayonne, easy in and out. Went on a 5 day Bermuda cruise, celebrating my daughter’s MBA. Stayed in a spacious balcony room. Everything was great.
The only issue we had was the my time dining, which did not seem to be on our time but when a spot was available, which was late evening. Next time I would go with a designated time. Found the food better than Oasis of the Seas. ...
I wanted to revisit this ship. The Mid-May 2022 cruise had embarkation and technical difficulties, and Victoria B.C. hadn't approved the use of North Star yet. Those difficulties have been overcome.
This time embarkation was a breeze, and everything about the ship seemed to be working well. This beautiful ship just sparkled, and the crew was very friendly and competent. There were ...
Usually I do not write reviews, but after reading some of the negative reviews on this site I decided it would be best.
1st off please remember this is a mid size ship and not one of the largest/newer and HIGHER PRICED SHIPS in the Royal Fleet. My wife and I (ages 48 and 50) went on a 4 night cruise with the drink package for under $3K including our flight.
We have been on over 10 cruises ...
This is the absolute worst cruise I have ever been on. The crew is absolutely rude, every member I have been unfortunate to run into. The ship is old and dusty, extremely gross staterooms. Extremely unorganized, and unprofessional. I highly suggest anyone to avoid this ship, or better yet the entire cruise line. Norwegian far excels in EVERY aspect over Royal Caribbean. Do NOT make the mistake of ...
We chose the ship because we had friends in Sitka and wanted to visit them and wanted to leave from Vancouver where we also looked forward to meeting old cruising friends. We were 4, Dad, son and two faughters, all Seniors but all Diamond on RCL. I was in a wheelchair for getting on and off and for longer on board ventures. We booked a 2 bedroom Grand Suite because it met our needs for separate ...
This is our 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean and I felt, the worst. We booked a September cruise because we believed there would not be as many children on the ship since school had recently begun. We were wrong. There were so many children, young and teens, on this cruise that it made it overly crowded(I heard the ship was at full capacity). Fortunately, the Oasis is a very large ship, so I was ...
After ready lots of reviews in the weeks prior to going I was not expecting much at all. Obviously passengers opinions vary but some of the complaints had me worried. I also went on Anthem last year which was terrible as things were still badly effected by covid. From the moment we got on this time it was different altogether. Staff levels were back to normal, the Windjammer food was amazing and ...
