We booked this ship because it was new, Oasis class and leaving from one of our favorite cities, Barcelona. The ship itself is beautiful, as only Royal Caribbean can do. It seems longer and wider than other Oasis Class ships like Symphony, Harmony , Oasis and Allure. Our crossing had 400+ passengers. Lots of Europeans, and a very small number of children. We also had over 250 Pinnicle status ...
We were originally booked on the Allure Westbound TA back in the fall of 2020 that was canceled a week after final payment was made. So we were very excited to be able to book the Allure Westbound TA for the fall of 2022. Then RCI canceled the Allure TA, but transferred everyone to the brand new Wonder of the Seas and for once I wasn't too disappointed in the change.
First off, my roommate ...
Originally was going on a business trip to Munich, Germany. We were not really looking forward to the trip, so we decided to add on a cruise. The date of this cruise worked well with out other travel plans. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean in the past, but not on this size ship.
We had a fantastic time. We were in a grand suite which was just a few doors down from the Coastal Kitchen. We ...
We have been extremely disappointed with our experience on Royal Caribbean. We are a group of 14 people, sailing on the Wonder Of The Seas from Barcelona, and have had a very poor experience.
My father is disabled and has an accessible room. However, the lock is dysfunctional and on several occasions it has locked him out of the room - even the housekeeping master key didn't work. We have had ...
This is my third time taking Royal Caribbean Cruise. I found there are more food choices than my first 2 trips. The employee are very friendly. The room services are excellent, sometimes 2 times per day. The facility are excellent. It has a run/walk way for 0.67 KM long. I and my wife enjoy the " Ice Spectacular " and the " VOICE" musical very much. There are many swimming pools in the ship ...
It was our vacation of a lifetime. We had always dreamed of taking a cruise in Europe, and finally, their dream came true. They set sail on the Wonder of the Seas, the largest ship ever built, and were immediately impressed by its size and grandeur. Despite the ship being at capacity with around 7000 passengers, we never felt crowded or cramped. The ship was so spacious that we always found a ...
I chose this cruise to celebrate our (hubby & I ) 10 yr anniversary and I thought it'd be fun to celebrate on the newest & largest ship. I've sailed several times on Royal, each time on the newest and/or largest ship. Of all my cruises, this was the most disappointing. The service (cabin steward, waiters, & guest services) was 5+ star. The food, however, was not good. Based on my past cruises, I ...
This was easily the highlight of our trip, we enjoyed it so much that this year again we are planning to go for another cruise with Royal Caribbean.
The only thing that, i wouldn't say it was disappointing but not as good as the other aspects of our cruising was the food, the food quality can certainly be better. But overall it was amazing and the cruise, dining and entertainment staff were ...
We went on the Western Med cruise from Barcelona. The ship is enormous, a bit like a theme park. But as first timer on RCL, (we usually use P&O), I wasn’t impressed.
The food was a good variety and service in main dining room was good. We are vegetarians and there were several options. However, a vegetarian sausage at breakfast in the Hot Dog restaurant would be an easy win.
The Windjammer ...
Since our last cruise was on Harmony of the Seas, we knew what to expect on an Oasis class ship. That made the layout feel familiar. If you're new to the Oasis class, it may take a bit to orient yourself. Although the ship capacity is over 6,000 guests, it never felt that way. Even when exiting the ship on port days, we never had lines or felt like a cattle call.
Loved the entertainment ...
