Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Star

We booked this cruise solely because of Rio. I knew that it was an older ship, but really didn't realize the big difference compared to newer ships. There was little to do. The TV in the cabin was almost worthless. The showroom was only used for the evening show. Nothing ever during the day like lectures, movies, or anything interesting. The food was not very good. The afternoon buffet carving for ...

I sailed with NCL Star ship Lisbon to Buenos Aires 21-day route (15-day Transatlantic and 7-day South America). During embarkation on Lisbon, they checked the vaccine status of passengers. During the trip, everybody seems ok for the first few days. Later at least half of the passengers start exhibiting severe cough, runny nose, and fever. Some of the passengers complained about losing smell and ...

just returned from south american cruise and was very very disappointed. We have cruised multiple times and have not seen the poor quality of ship and most of managerial staff. service was terrible. They DO NOT supply bar of soap, have one outlet in mini suite, give you two skimpy towels and you cannot reach room service. Only soap available is shower soap I had a mini suite with no assigned ...

Cruise selected based on the itinerary. We had 2 issues that we escalated to guest services and were made to feel they did not care at all. Our cabin was hot and after technician checked and temperature was 22.9 Celcius,. i was told by Guest Services, they could do nothing andthere were no other cabins to move. it was a blatant lie, I know this because due to flooding of several cabins later in ...

Bad experience at MSC Musica

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Musica

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

My wife and I took a Cruise at MSC Musica. RIo-Buenos Aires-Rio. After purchasing the tickets, directly with MSC, we received, on the eve of the trip, an email confirming a cabin with a balcony. We were very happy because we bought the Bingo rate and knew we could go to internal or external cabin with balcony. Confirmed that it was external, with balcony, we rejoice even more. On the day of the ...

South America

We chose this cruise specifically for the itinerary and what a wonderful itinerary it was helped by settled weather conditions for most of the passage. I had however reservations about the ship being a little dated and reserved ie the entertainment onboard was quite possibly the poorest we had ever been unfortunate enough to be subjected to. There was also unacceptable delays in the main dining ...

Worst Cruise We've Ever Taken

Review for a South America Cruise on Crown Princess

This was a bucket list trip around South America. Boarding was total disorganized and took over 4 1/2 hours. No one in the terminal had any answers as to why the delays. The ship is old and outdated. stains in carpeting, ratty mats and flooring in the gym, no nets on basketball courts, broken machines in the casino. When I spoke to a supervisor about the condition of the ship I was told" Sir, ...

Service issues

If you are looking to go on a cruise where service is great, staff are happy...do NOT take Norwegian Sun!! Leadership on this ship and Guest Service manager, do NOT have a clue of what service is all about. She is rude, defensive and insulting to guests. Luggage delivering was delayed for 13 hours, no apology, no compensation, no compassion! They have this "don't care attitude" Luggage ...

We cruised last year on Regatta from Lima to Buenos Aires and had a fantastic voyage. We cruised this year from Rio to Miami. Very disappointed, would not choose Oceania again. -a definite lack of service throughout the ship. Asked for tea, water, and refills continually. Did not have cranberry juice or camomile tea available. Some days the omelet maker could not be bothered to get bacon or ...

GET ME OFF THIS SHIP !!!!!

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Lirica

User Avatar

Absolutely the worst cruise ever. We got off this ship two days ago and I felt like I had gotten out of a dirty prison and was released back to society and civilization. In my opinion and based on my experience, here are the reasons why and I hope this information assists others considering their cruise options. MSC LIRICA 1. Service. Dispassionate and lack lustre. The service was the least ...
