I sailed with NCL Star ship Lisbon to Buenos Aires 21-day route (15-day Transatlantic and 7-day South America). During embarkation on Lisbon, they checked the vaccine status of passengers. During the trip, everybody seems ok for the first few days. Later at least half of the passengers start exhibiting severe cough, runny nose, and fever. Some of the passengers complained about losing smell and taste. We have a medical doctor on our team and it is clear that a respiratory virus infection occurred on the ship but no one took any steps to prevent it. When we talked to managers about the issue, they told us that "at this time it is normal to see this sort of infection on the ship". We try to prevent catching the virus on the ship but, eventually, in such an enclosed space we got infected too. After the cruise, we found that it was a combination of Covid and RSV. Ten days after the cruise we feel much better right now.

In another event, a lady who was enjoying one of the main hot tubes during the cruise suddenly lose consciousness and fell into the hot tub. The lifeguard on duty was not aware of the situation until one of the passengers saw the fallen lady and start yelling at people to save her life. As no emergency personnel showed up, passengers, a lifeguard, and a restaurant manager in the garden cafe tried to pull her up from the hot tube. As they can not find any tool to carry the passenger, they used lounge chairs to carry the patient. As no medical personnel arrive, our doctor at the party made first aid to the patient and stabilize her. after 15 minutes a nurse arrived with a bag and checked her blood pressure and blood sugar. No ship doctor arrived on the scene. With the help of other passengers in translation, our doctor helped her. After the event, we realize that an emergency stretcher was hanging near the towel station but no one on the ship thinks to use it during an emergency.

For the dining, If you choose to eat in the Versailles room, the waiters are not working hard. We have to wait just for a wine glass to arrive for 35 minutes. You will finish your drink before the main course arrives. On the contrary In the dining room Aqua the meals were served extremely fast. And the temperature and cooking of the food were far better than in the Versailles room. Both restaurants share the same kitchen but service quality is very different.
