We chose this cruise because we'd cruised with Princess before and really enjoyed the relaxation and amazing food. This cruise was one for the books. The Embarkation process was absolutely hands-down the best of all cruises we've experienced. The first 4 days of the 15-day cruise was relaxing, then it slowly grew worse.
When we arrived to our room, the first thing we saw was the trash on the ...
We have always thought the Grand Princess was a great ship. HOWEVER, on this cruise we had a huge issue with both the Grand and Princess.
The ship was heading to dry dock in Oregon after this cruise.... However, they also wanted to do some work while in transit. The transit work was banking on piping up on Deck 14 with very large hammers and more noise that you could imagine. Noise SO ...
As my husband cannot fly long distances, we chose San Francisco port instead of flying directly to Hawaii. Wanted pictures from of Golden Gate Bridge, but ship was very late in leaving dock. We were dining when we finally left and missed the bridge completely. Ship was in deplorable condition...carpets terribly stained, furniture very worn, rust everywhere. Seas extremely rough and rained on ...
Always wanted to circle around all the Hawaiian Islands.
The entertainment (Showtime) was Superb !
We were really thrilled with Born to Dance show.
It is a good as it get - Broadway style....
Fantastic !!!
Our cabin C523 steward or attendant, Renato made our stay wonderful.
He always kept our cabin in excellent, clean, and pleasant space to rest.
He attended to our needs ...
This cruise started off bad and got worse. We booked this cruise and selected the room we wanted because of the large balcony. When we got on we were told they gave us an upgrade and moved us without telling us. We ended up a deck lower with a tiny balcony. When we complained they told us they gave our room to someone that had more cruises booked with them. This was our first and last cruise ...
Chose this cruise to go to Hawaii without the dreaded experience of airline travel. Roundtrip from San Francisco with port stops in the major Hawaiian Islands. The ship is in major need of repairs, cosmetic and mechanical/electrical. Something was always breaking down or needing repairs while underway often turning common areas into construction zones. Maui was the last port call before ...
BEWARE, AVOID PRINCESS CRUISES AT ALL COSTS!!!
We had so many problems with this cruise compared to others, it is hard to find where to start. Our main problem was that they skipped THE MAIN PORT on our trip. There were a couple of waves and they decided to skip Jamaica. Yes, it is the captains call and that is fine, however, we saw 4 cruise ships dock in Jamaica as we were about to dock! The ...
My family went on the Regal princess over Thanksgiving. We were shocked at the drop in service and overall quality of Princess. The food in the dining room and buffet area was bland and tasteless. I have had better food at a hospital cafeteria. The service was pitiful. The main waiter had no assistant most nights so glasses sat empty.
Our first port was canceled due to wind in Jamaica. Our ...
This review is on the cruise itself and not the ports. I have been on many cruises and this was the worst ever. We know that princess caters to the older crowd but with 4 days at sea on Thanksgiving week you would think that there would be one activity by the pool for those of us not in retirement age? Nope, It was very obvious that they did this to discourage people from being at the pool and ...
The ship was a mess. The front desk staff, particularly one man, was combative, argumentative and rude. I asked to buy two stamps on the 3rd day of the cruise and he told me they didn't have any because they had sold them all. I suggested they buy more the next time and he said, "Why don't you get off at the next port and go find a post office." He was a total jerk.
The pipes in the ceilings in ...
