We have always thought the Grand Princess was a great ship. HOWEVER, on this cruise we had a huge issue with both the Grand and Princess.

The ship was heading to dry dock in Oregon after this cruise.... However, they also wanted to do some work while in transit. The transit work was banking on piping up on Deck 14 with very large hammers and more noise that you could imagine. Noise SO LOUD you could not think. AND ALMOST EVERYDAY.

On this cruise there were more water leaks from the AC units then ever before. Our AC unit in our cabin C706 was NOT working half of the time.

Every thing was getting old. They are putting new carpet in at dry dock. They are putting new beds in at dry dock. Otherwise it was OK.

Port Reviews

Maui

Raining and no shelter. The ship would not let us back on until some port security arrived. The port security never arrived. They finally let us back on when everyone started to VERY LOUDLY complain. Same security that was there when we got off started to let us back on. EVERY ONE was upset. COMPLETELY SOAKED.
