We loved the crew. Everyone was very helpful and very pleasant. The ship was average but it does need some work. Very limited outlets in the rooms. Our bathroom stunk from floor drains that are never cleaned. These should be cleaned and sanitized regularly. I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I love going to New England and Canada, and I liked that we would be in port every day except the last day. I live close to Brooklyn and my friend lives in Brooklyn, so I suggested we go on this cruise together. She has cruised on Princess before and I haven't, and she told me I'd be in for a treat. We had FCC about to expire; therefore, chose to take this cruise. Our obstructed view cabin (category OV) was not obstructed at all. What a nice surprise!

I was given a balcony cabin through the casino. I upgraded at booking to a mini suite and then through the move up offers, to a reserve class mini. The cabin was spacious with a nice bathroom. Price for a turnaround Alaskan cruise was really inexpensive. You see same ports but different glaciers. Obstructed ocean view cabin is clean and comfortable.
