Very good cruise on Discovery Princess

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Discovery Princess

scw8047
6-10 Cruises • Age 50s

This was our sixth Princess cruise and the third on Discovery. It was a great time and had many great aspects. Not all was perfect though. Embarkation: This was a chaotic embarkation. The arrival window was 1030-1400 for everyone so you can imagine most people show up at the beginning of that window. This overwhelmed the waiting area so the Platinum area was actually the area for anyone that ...

Wonderful week on the Regal

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

Elizabeth K.
10+ Cruises • Age 60s

I just got off the Regal a few days ago and here are my thoughts. Me: 61 years young, active, not quite retired, Midwesterner. I traveled with my brother and sister-in-law. I chose this itinerary for the ports that included Roatan and Belize, because I wanted to snorkel. Also, this cruise offered a reasonable fare for a solo balcony, my first time for that. This cruise is my last as a Platinum ...

So So, Average, Meh, Mid, Boring

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

peasprout
First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

Words to describe our first time on Princess: average, uninspired, meh, just ok. We usually cruise on Royal Caribbean or Norwegian, but since Crown Princess had a sailing out of SF during our ski week, we decided to try it. Going in, I knew it would be a smaller ship without the activities of an Oasis class RC ship. What I didn't expect was how average it all was. Nothing blew us away. We ...

Goodbye Princess cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Sky Princess

ElandMar
First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

We are cruisers in our 70s and Elite status on Princess. This is the last cruise we will take with them as they no longer want to cater to our age group. We will take our cruise dollars to Seabourn etc who don’t seem to collect their passengers from a nearby trailer park. The ship is lovely and the food is still great. The service is amazing but why keep up the pretence at a dress code when ...

Lots of fun!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

LAPITT
2-5 Cruises • Age 50s

We had so much fun! Our room steward was amazing! The food in the main dining room was very good. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The International Cafe was delicious and very easy to grab a quick bite. We went late to the dinner buffet, and it was not so great - but it was late and to be expected. The ports were a lot of fun, and this cruise seemed to be a nice mix of sea days and ...

FIRST AND LAST CRUISE - FIJI & NEW CALEDONIA 2024

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Grand Princess

Adriana Bramante
First Time Cruiser • Age 30s

This was the worst travel experience of my life. It was our first time on a cruise and certainly the last with Grand Princess. This cruise is suitable for 60 year olds and above only. The cruise itself is extremely outdated! I wouldn’t even say it could pass as a family cruise. 1 of the 3 stops they made over the 2 weeks was an industrial area. We even did a tour and didn’t even see much at all. ...

A bit of an odd ship but still one of the best we've done

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Majestic Princess

guy01
6-10 Cruises • Age 50s

We've cruised to the Pacific before and we have cruised with pre-pandemic Princess so this will be both an honest and (hopefully) informed review. Overall I feel Majestic Princess hits its mark as a premium cruise line. There are some little oddities with the ship, primarily as a result of its designed for China past. I'll deal with those issues first. Yes it would be better with a wake pool; ...

Discovery princess

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Discovery Princess

hvis
2-5 Cruises • Age 50s

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this cruise has been a huge disappointment. The food has been horrible. I paid for the upgraded premium plus drink and dinner as well as a balcony. The food has been a huge let down. We even paid the extra $45 pp for lunch for a seafood broil.. it was icecold , mushy, salty shrimp and lobster. Bread bowl chowder was a rock hard crust that looked reused. We ...

South Pacific Cruise

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Majestic Princess

Trammy
6-10 Cruises • Age 70s

I chose this cruise as I wanted to return to cruising after a long break with health issues and the pandemic. It offered an opportunity to revisit some ports which I hadn't seen for about half a century at a reasonable price. It was a good time to go, as it was outside school holidays, although the time of year meant that in the tropical locations visited there was a strong possibility of ...

Disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

jangalang804
2-5 Cruises • Age 70s

This was my first and most likely last Princess cruise. They did not honor the items in Princess Plus package I purchased when booking the cruise through a travel agent a year ago. Guest service staff response was “that was the old package”. How was I supposed to know it changed? Guess they never heard of “grandfathering”! The room steward was wonderful as was the Amalfi dining room staff. My ...
