Great Staff, rude fellow passengers

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunrise

After a hiatus we were ready to get back on the water. Because of work schedules we really have difficulty finding the right cruise at the right time. This one was our only choice. Check in was just fine, probably 15 minutes and we were on board. The ship has been tastefully refurbished - it was a welcome sight actually. Our inside room was just fine for two people. The beds were ...

Overcrowded

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunrise

This was my daughter's sweet 16 cruise and we definitely had some disappointments. We have more cons than pros. Getting on the ship was very overwhelming with the amount of people trying to get on board. Prior to booking customer service never gave me an answer on the capacity but said that it wouldn't be at full capacity which was not the case. If it wasn't at full capacity than it was pretty ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Holland America Rotterdam

Four(4) stars with Holland and a 61 cruises experience, I must write that this cruise was one of disenchantments. +Embarkation went well but controls were not as rigorous as we expected so much that we were regrouped in a waiting section where a couple sitting right in front of us was seriously affected with what could have been *The Covid*. When accepted at the triage, they should have been ...

Tired Ship with average food for a premium price

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

I have cruised with six other cruise lines in years past and have found Celebrity to be the best choice. There was a specialness, attention, variety, great food and interesting venues on their ships. Perhaps some of my disappointment with this Bahama cruise stems from the Covid19 issue, but that still does not excuse the present short comings, I experienced. The inconsistencies began with the ...

Excellent Cruising Experience but can and should be improved...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

I did not selected this cruise. It was chosen by my partner and I respected his decision. The ship is beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Due to the Pandemic, the ship had only 1,300 passengers while their capacity is almost 4,000. The dining rooms were great but not the food. Being a seafood fan I expected shrimps, lobster and crabs but was disappointed. Crabs were never an option on ...

Elation day 1 From parking to 1st drink took 1 hour. Mega problems getting the app to work and we tried on 3 different devices. Port holes/ inside room M2 It's very sparse and basic, not a problem for 5 days, but I wouldn't dig it for longer. No settee or chair in room. Hardly any storage space in the bathroom, just 1 shelf. I took a hanging toilet bag, which was a good move. ...

Our Suite was stunning. Blow your socks off. Totally stocked with free booze that we took home at their urging. The food in the restaurants are like high end restaurants. To die for. BUT the rest of the cruise was totally a wash. BORING. No activities. The Pool has no steps for getting in and out.. care that you don't break your neck. There is no cruise director. There are few or none activities ...

We just got off of the Virgin Voyages 5 day cruise. The ship is beautiful as you would expect as a new ship. The staff extremely friendly and accommodating for the most part. It is apparent they do not know the American culture and expectations unfortunately. 1. There is no buffet. That in its self is not a bad thing The restaurants are great and have awesome food. The chefs do not know ...

Lost At Ship

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

We wanted to try the new cruise line. We had just gotten off the Celeberty X Apex(also new) on a Tour of Greece. I am an experienced cruiser, having been on 15 cruises and this is our third since Covid-19. Lost on the ship was the theme of the cruise. The ship lacked basic signage. Elevators open onto no exit passages. Passages lead to hidden doors. Everyone constantly asking where is ...
