We traveled Oct 13-22,2016. We picked the cruise because of the ports. The ports were good to excellent. It was easy for us to get on the ship. We arrived at 1:30 and walked on the ship by 1:50. We were able to carry on our bags right to our room. We had an interior and it was clean. We had great service with the room. The cruise was very good with excellent service in MDR. We had ATD. We ...

My wife and I sailed on the Grandeur of the seas Royal Caribbean cruise for nine nights for our 25th wedding anniversary. The ship only had six children on board which was nice in a way, however there were two thousand customers and only a hand full of people under the age of 50. The ship was clean and the room steward, waiter and assistant waiter were outstanding. The room attendant, Ricardo ...

We chose this cruise in order to see some fall foliage and we were not disappointed. The trees were in full color, the weather was terrific and the cruise was fabulous. We embarked in Baltimore, quickly with no problems, had a show by the Blue Angels, who were in town to dedicate a ship or museum, and started on a grand vacation. Although a small ship, the Grandeur is immaculate, the staff ...

Great staff and crew but felt that if you didn't purchase a beverage package there was limited availability of complimentary drinks. Also after 1 pm your only choice is room service with a charge between midnight and 5 am. Room was comfortable enough but could use an updating. It also was very very noisy all through the night. We discovered we were under the dining/kitchen. Others near us ...

Awful experience - Royal Caribbean should be ashamed.

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

This was the worst holiday we have ever experienced. The advertised cruise was for Bermuda however due to Hurricane Matthew it ended up cruising to New York. Obviously safety is the main priority and the bad weather is beyond the control of Royal Caribbean, however we felt that we were not kept informed of what was happening. We contacted Royal Caribbean prior to the cruise as we were aware of ...

The Gradeur is my 5th RC ship. At the beginning of the week, I contacted RC about this particular cruise and the possibility of the itinerary changing. Hurricane Matthew was brewing and Nicole was heading to Bermuda. I was told RC would be monitoring the situation and inform me of any changes. People who booked through AAA, knew Saturday that RC wasn't going to Bermuda. Customer service said ...

I am sure that several of the passengers on this cruise have written a review due to the terrible weather we suffered through, but I felt that I also had additional incidents that needed to be shared as well. This was my first time on Royal Caribbean. I have only traveled on Carnival and have enjoyed it very much! I was told that Royal was a better company but I did not find that on my ...

My wife and I just got back from one of the most...interesting trips we've had yet. This was our 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean, first on Grandeur. Itinerary had us on a 5-night going to Bermuda, but Hurricanes Matthew and Nichole had other ideas.... Long review but hopefully helpful … First, I'll talk a little about the storm and how wonderful the crew were...then I'll go through the ...

Ok before I say anything else, let me say RCCL and the crew of Grandeur of the Seas did nothing wrong, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make this cruise the best it could be for all passengers. Bottom line if you book your cruise during hurricane season and get caught up in a hurricane, it's the chance you take. I heard a lot of cruisers saying "RCCL should of known, they should ...

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

First of all, let me state that the crew, food, room and general amenities of the ship were all very good. However, the cruise itinerary was not what it should have been. The cruise was a 5 day from Baltimore to Bermuda. Understandably Royal Caribbean cannot control the weather. However, they can inform, explain, and give options to their customers. They do not do ...
