I am sure that several of the passengers on this cruise have written a review due to the terrible weather we suffered through, but I felt that I also had additional incidents that needed to be shared as well.

This was my first time on Royal Caribbean. I have only traveled on Carnival and have enjoyed it very much! I was told that Royal was a better company but I did not find that on my vacation.

As a person with OCD, I called Royal's customer service line several times prior to departure due to my worry about the weather conditions. At not time, was I told the trip was cancelled or that the destinations would be changed. The day of departure we arrived at 1:45 because we have dogs that needed to be dropped off for care. As we entered the building three people yelled down to each other until reaching the man at the door to "lock the doors at 2:00 no matter what". I asked the person checking in if an email was sent about the early departure. I was given a generic explanation that they were just told the Bay was being closed and we needed to leave early.
