This was my very first cruise. It was a gift from a friend it was a spare of the moment trip. She asked me to go with her on the Friday that we got out for Thanksgiving break. She told me we were leaving that night to go to Galveston and we was going to sail out on the Saturday. She asked me to go on a cruise with her. I had a GREAATTT Time I can not wait to go on another. Next time I would like ...

It wasn’t bad

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

Mireya0605
2-5 Cruises • Age 60s

This is a short cruise. Port of calls are Key West and Cozumel. The ship is older, but it is clean, and staff was very nice! The formal dinners were very good, and the service was excellent. Do not order the duck. On the negative side. It is hard to sleep when your cabin is directly under the bar that has karaoke every night. The hair dryer is horrible, so bring your own. There is only one ...

Old and tired

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Legend

Joe Regular
2-5 Cruises • Age 60s

My wife and I wanted to relax and clear our heads from some recent events and Costco had a decent offer for us. I'm just going to bullet point the main items and let everyone fill in the rest. * The ship is in need of a big refresh. It is old and tired. Many small items......to many to mention, just hit a few big ones. * Elevators were possessed. Press a floor button, doors close, feels ...

Dirty, bad food, ship was just sad and old

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

My husband & I decided to take a quick weekend cruise for our anniversary. We are not new to cruising, 9 so far and one of those includes Carnival. That was 10yrs ago & we hated jt. But eh we decided to try again and the Liberty fit our time off. The interior of the ship is not awful. But our room, it was sad sad sad. One of our lamps was broken off. I went to turn it on and it flopped off. My ...

Dirty Ship food lacking

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Freedom

I am surprised by how bad the food is and the ship is dirty. The staff are good but seemed to be trained not to give bigger than a child serving for the Buffett. The prime rib a few nights ago turned out to be a few bites of beef. They cut such small bite size pieces I felt bad for the carver. Awful. Just ruined a good prime rib why bother?? This will be my last cruise on Carnival. I really used ...

I wanted to show my friends (first time cruisers) how wonderful you are treated on cruise ships. 1. Room was hot. After 3 attempt waking with migrane and my hair wet with sweat, called at 3am. Was told temp should be between 72 and 76. Since it was 74, I was offered a fan. It was covered w/dust. All I could think was it came from a room where someone had Covid and I was gonna get it from ...

Pleasantly Surprised

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

10+ Cruises • Age 50s

Before I went on my cruise on Carnival Liberty I was very apprehensive because of all the reviews. After going on a four day cruise I cease to see what all the complaining was about. The staff was great, the food was good for cruise ship food and the steakhouse was definitely worth the extra money. We had an aft corner room on deck 7 and our room Stewart Susana was great very attentive and ...

Final Freedom before the Fix

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Freedom

Crazy4casinocruisin
10+ Cruises • Age 40s

We went on the last Freedom cruise before her dry dock in Barcelona to get her fins fixed. We had a great cruise. The boat is a bit older, very similar to the Liberty (almost identical) but very easy to navigate, in great shape, great staff and a clean ship. The atrium always had good music and events. The musicians were excellent with a great selection of music. The cruise director, Andy, was my ...

Not bad but not great

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Magic

soonerfan007
6-10 Cruises • Age 60s

8 day out of Norfolk Va. parked car with asphalt lots ( park air) in Chesapeake. Brad was very easy to engage for info. Vans started running early and took traffic headache away. Terminal easy and friendly folks to get onboard , maybe 25 min with a 1135 boarding time. Food. Nothing special. Outback better than steakhouse the one night we went. Guys burgers good and busy. Guys bbq- expected much ...
