We liked the length of this cruise, ten days, and the convenience of sailing out of Tampa. Our penthouse suite was a treat and provided all the space and handicap equipment we needed. Our butler Henry was a gem, predicting and meeting our every need. The NCL Dawn is a beautiful ship, hardly recognizable after the recent remodeling. We had breakfast room service 9 out of 10 mornings and loved ...

Sailed on the Norwegian Dawn for 11 nights on 1/28/18 in a balcony cabin. We are frequent cruisers and are NCL Gold status in their Latitudes program. I'll make this short and sweet because I don't want to even have to think about cruising with them after the past two experiences.
We don't usually eat in the MDR because food quality has suffered greatly in the past years. Just when we thought ...
(1) we chose the dawn because we live in the tampa bay area and were looking for a cruise to celebrate our 57th wedding anniversary and to enjoy 10 days away. we have platinum status in the latitudes club, but were denied priority boarding (an attendant said that they were not providing that today ?).this caused us to have to wait in the unbelievable long lines for two hours to embark the ship. ...
The ship was totally under staffed
The food which you had to wait for wasn't worth waiting for. Cold most of the time.
The bartenders or lack there of were rude and acted as if they didn't want to be doing their job.
It took until 1300hrs to get our cabin made up on a daily basis.
The staff allowed intoxicated men to continue to harass families while trying to have a quiet evening and ...
We decided to take a family cruise, and planned this for almost a year. The excitement quickly turned to disappointment, as each day there were little things that just added to the aggravation. There wasn't any place on the ship except for the casino that you could be away from children. Apparently, the youth programs were not good so the children stayed out for the trip. The club was open to ...
We went mostly for the entertainment. Kid Rock was awesome, the other passengers were awesome. As far as the Norwegian Jade, I'd never go back on again. I've been on Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Princess...this is the worst ship I've ever been on.
Casino needs to be updated..slots need to be loosened up.
Food on the buffet was the same everyday..and it was cold and dried out. Very ...
The service was terrible, we were delayed in port for 6 hours, delayed even getting on the ship. Waited for over an hour to get drinks as the electronic card service was broken. They were working on the ship right above the eating area and sand, paint and dirt was flying in our food. Couldn't get near the pools or hot tubs as they were packed. If you didn't make reservations for dinner, you were ...
The ship left the dock 6 hours late because of mechanical problems. In the meantime I waited in a line 1 1/2 miles long to get on the boat. Once on the ship the bars were under staffed and had to wait in a line to get a cocktail. We were charged taxes for all of the drinks we had before the ship left the dock. Through out the cruise there were not enough bartenders and the majority of the ...
chose this cruise because of the port, date and length. embarkation - we waited outside in line for two hours. boat left 6 hours late; due to underwater repairs. boat arrived back in Tampa 4 hours early at 2 am . We were awaken early by loud noise outside due to two barges /tugs working on the boat. Even with balcony door closed, it was impossible to sleep disembarkation was a nightmare - ...
