Our 1st cruise was magical

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We live in Hawaii. My wife and I wanted to take our 14-year-old daughter on a big trip before she gets older and might no longer be interested in traveling with us. Our goal was to create family memories, expose her to different cultures and show our daughter that the world is a far bigger place than just Hawaii. We booked the Norwegian 'Getaway' with the following itinerary: Jul ...

First time with Norwegian. We had a balcony on the 13th Deck. The cabin was nice and comfortable. The food in all dining was great! Pool and amenities were great and drink package was perfect. We have done several cruises with another line and loved them but Norwegian is tops! We have already booked another for Spring ‘24. The selections of different restaurants is great, lots of selection. ...

We booked a cruise 2 years earlier for a 50th birthday celebration but it was cancelled due to covid restrictions. This was now a 52 birthday celebration. First the embarkment day at Civitavecchia. It was a total mess. Our boarding time was a 9:30 AM and we got to the port from Rome at 8:30AM. There was a lot of confusion of where we should go to enter and had relocated 3 times because of ...

FUN ALL DAY LONG

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

I chose this cruise because of the ports of call but it was so much more. We were so busy from the moment we got up. Freestyle dinning is great, food anytime of the day. The ports of call were great and no matter what time we came back to ship we a had a delicious meal either at specialty restaurants or the many other complimentary restaurants. Every night there was excellent entertainment. They ...

Family trip with two teenagers (12, 17)

It was my 31st cruise but first time on NCL. I was very happy with the cruise (sort of a cross between Carnival/Royal) with many of the fun activities of Carnival but the more upscale venues of Royal. Cabin - We had a family oceanview on 5. One really large bathroom, two twins/queen and a bunkbed for the adult sized teens with a curtain that pulled across for dressing and sleeping privacy. ...

I chose this cruise because I enjoy transatlantic sailings. We embarked at Civitavecchia, visited Livorno, Cannes, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon, Ponta Delgada and disembarked at my home port, New York City. We had seven fun filled sea days. There were alot of trivia games offered. NCL Escape has great entertainment and dining was also very good. Lobster is offered as an upcharge in ...

Just off the Escape and a wonderful cruise. The ship was spotless. It became a game to try to see something dirty, torn, or in disrepair. Nothing. Lovely, friendly staff. We had an aft cabin and would choose that again. Deck was very large: two loungers, two straight chairs, and a small table. Deck 12. Beautiful to look out on the the propeller wash as we sailed. Best of all you had view of three ...

Great ship, wonderful vacation

I've travelled a lot on the Norwegian Epic before and decided to try out this newer ship, which should have several improvements for the wellknown flaws the Epic has. And yes, this is in all means a better and nicer ship. I had a great vacation on the Escape and sometimes I ask myself if people who are extremely negative in reviews were on the same ship? Is it perfect? Of course not, but it's a ...

Epic times ... Haven was wonderful #16000 Haven

Actually ... our ship was placed into dry dock & we needed to switch ships ... so we selected the 7-day Epic (first time on this ship) and we were not disappointed! Before our cruise there were not many updated fotos of #16000 - the two bedroom Haven so I wanted to add lots of info! The space was great with lots of storage. Although there were 2 of us, we selected the two bedroom for the extra ...

Amazing Greek and Italian cruise in the Haven

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Escape

This was our first NCL cruise and it was booked quite late. There weren't many cabins available and we seemed to get a decent price for a Haven Front Facing Penthouse Suite. My only complaint was the NCL App and website. It was awful!! We had to make numerous phone calls to check things e.g. we completed check in but the system said we were only 65% complete! I spent hours trying ...
