Cabin: The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony
Traveled with children

This was our first NCL cruise and it was booked quite late. There weren't many cabins available and we seemed to get a decent price for a Haven Front Facing Penthouse Suite.

My only complaint was the NCL App and website. It was awful!! We had to make numerous phone calls to check things e.g. we completed check in but the system said we were only 65% complete! I spent hours trying to work out what I'd missed!! The app was also trying to charge $229 for the free onboard shows!! Very odd.

Our cabin was on deck 14 right underneath the bridge. The parts of the bridge that 'stick out' created a roof on our balcony!! In the end it didnt really matter as we don't really use the balcony. We only use it for a quick coffee in the morning to see what the port looks like!! Room was amazing. Nice big bedroom and a separate living room for our daughter.

Cabin Review

The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

Forward Facing Penthouse Suite on Deck 14. Large bedroom with separate large living area. Large bathroom.

Small balcony and because it was deck 14 it is underneath the bridge which creates a large roof on your balcony.

Port Reviews

Athens (Piraeus)

Port is about 20 mins for the centre of Athens. We visited the Acroplolis and then walked around the Plaka area. Loads of shops and greek restaurants. Our favourite port. This is a must.

Naples

We had a half day visit to Pompei. Amazing, but when you allow for travel time there isn't enoght time to explore.

Def do a full day here

Florence (Livorno)

We did Florence on yourt own. Used the hop on hop off bus. Amazing

Taormina (Messina)

Quite a drive but well worth it when you get there. Great views of Mount Etna and a really nice town to visit for the day.
