I could not resist the rates on this 4 day cruise to achieve Elite status. Settled into a cabin on PR deck aft. Loved the location close to exit doors directly onto Promaneade deck. First time on this ship since 2013, and the refit. Really missed the full PR deck. It was almost as though I had never cruised this ship before, Explorers Lounge - gone. All kids' clubs are now aft, along with ...
Great entertainment except for Cats which was boring but had great actors.
Food was pretty bad even worse than carnival. I realized that after eating a regular burger with no bun ...just the patty and noticed it was made of inferior beef or a mix of beef and perhaps vegetable protein. Even the lobster was pretty bad. Ate mostly fish which was pretty good.
After 9pm...the only food you ...
It's our 6th time with MSC, had high expectations. The ship is beautiful, services were great, I do have some minor disappointments.
1. Cabin - 8232, end balcony cabin, double bed and bunk beds (kids were very happy because in the past it was sofa bed). Cabin size was smaller than what we had in Seaside and Divina, storage spaces were smaller too.
2. Restaurant - great, same as other ships. ...
This is my 27th RCCL cruise and I am at the Diamond Plus level. I am a "loyalist", as such as the cruise line tries to raise the bar of quality of food, service and entertainment. Those levels are expected on the next cruise and the next cruise, etc.
Embarkment: Traveling via RCCL arranged bus transfers from Fort Lauderdale to Miami, the ride was smooth and we arrived at Terminal A, we were on ...
We are veteran cruisers, especially recently with this being my fifth cruise in the last year. This is our fourth(?) HAL cruise. For the first time in 25 years we cruised with old friends who were also veteran cruisers. There was so much to like about this ship and we had a great time, as did our friends. Wife and I are 52 and 49.
EMBARKATION was outstanding. We arrived around 10:50 and there ...
I booked this cruise last minute, 3 weeks prior to our sail date. I was traveling with my best friend (it was her first cruise) and my 2 sons. My first Carnival cruise was on the Horizon last summer, June 2018... I was not impressed.. quality of food was awful and no one ever cleaned anything, sanitizers always empty. Same for Carnival Sunshine.. Empty hand sanitizer for days. Sub-par food. Dirty ...
We did a Caribbean cruise in December as a family with 2 teens. We had previously sailed on Meraviglia on the Mediterranean, and enjoyed the ship, so we chose them again because of the new ship, and the good number of destinations ( 4 stops) on the 7 day cruise our of Miami. Overall we had a great cruise, as the familiarity was great, and we could do things just as we liked. For example we ordered ...
We truly enjoyed everything about our cruise!
The cruise director was fun and engaging. The activities kept us entertained. The food was tasty and our steward went above and beyond.
The ship was very clean and we constantly saw people picking up and straightening.
The cabin could have been a little bigger but I feel that way about all ships.
There were plenty of food options and the ...
We were excited to try a new ship and new cruise route. First thing we noticed when going to our cabin was there were no fish swimming forward on the carpet! That is a staple on all NCL ships except this one. Minor detail but it helps at the end of a long day to help get you back to your cabin when you are exhausted.
The ship design was choppy. Floors abruptly ended and later found out ...

I will try to make this review as short as possible while covering a variety of relevant points most cruisers are concerned with. After 29 cruises and years of sailing the “Mega Liners”, the wife and I decided to switch things up and take a journey back to where our cruising adventure began years ago, a smaller ship. After reading a variety of reviews we ...
