My husband and I really wanted to go to Italy and Greece and we thought a cruise would be a nice idea. After seeing reviews from previous Norweigan cruises we decided to go with this one. The employees are nice, all speak English fluently. The food is excellent in every restaraunt and very clean. Keep in mind that everything is extra including food at the nicer restaurants, drinks, etc. There are ...
Chose this cruise for the itinery and a pre cruise stay in Rome.
Slightly apprehensive as having previously sailed on the beautiful Eclipse and Equinox, some reviews stated threadbare carpets, rust etc
We need not have worried. The ship was lovely using more traditional teak colours. The lifts were lined with wood, some lifts had sea views, lovely coloured glass on ceilings .The main dining ...
We are diamond members in RCCL and chose this cruise for the ports visited at a time of year when the Med is less crowded, has a beautiful temperature of between 25-30°C and there are few children on board.
We had booked flight and transport to the ship through RCCL. Due to await at the airport for other passengers and then having to pick up other passengers from a coach that had broken down on ...
The cruise was advertised as having a direct flight from Jersey (where I live) to Venice which is very convenient and why I booked it, having not really considered a cruise before.
As it turned out, this didn't happen and we spent a night in London and a further night in Venice...all good and part of the adventure.
I'd read up on lots of cruise reviews and pins prior to the trip and ...
We chose this cruise because the ship was small, only 380 passengers and we wanted to cruise the Greek Islands which limited our choice of ships. Embarkation and disembarkation were the fastest I have ever experienced on a ship, no waiting in line.
The food, service, entertainment were great. I am not a buffet person and loved that I had options of a la carte or buffet for breakfast and ...
We were two couples travelling to Italy and chose this cruise for the itinerary and affordable price. In the past we have sailed with MSC on the Poesia in the Caribbean so we knew what to expect from an MSC cruise. Since it was mid-September there was an older crowd and very few kids around. The ship is showing signs of wear but still in decent condition. We booked the Aurea experience and ...
The Rhapsody, although one of the smallest, was a nice ship. The decor was nice and our Jnr suite cabin, 8596, was a perfect size for a very comfortable cruise. The decor was great apart from the gaudy pictures, the designer should be sacked, a few nice pictures would lighten the room! The food was very nice, the windjammer has so much choice you don't need to go elsewhere. We paid for 3 extra ...
We had previously taken an eastern Mediterranean cruise, which was highly enjoyable, and wanted to repeat the experience, this time taking in ports in the eastern end of the Med.
We chose this particular cruise based on the time of year, and also based on the advertised claim that the Crown Princess (built in 2004-2006) had been 'refurbished' in March of 2018. We found this claim not to be ...
We chose this ship because of the ports it was visiting and the date it was sailing. We had never sailed with Royal Caribbean before. The service on board was fantastic.
From dining room to coffee shop to cabin steward the service was amazing.
The food choice was excellent and all the food tasted great!
The entertainment at the shows each night was wonderful too.
The cruise director ...
The ship itself is small carrying less than 2000 people the main issues we found is that there is no functional space big enough to accommodate passengers wishing to watch the shows provided by the animation team. This resulted in even if you found a seat, passenger standing in front of you obscuring your view with a result that you too had to stand to watch the show.
That said the ship is very ...
