My husband and I really wanted to go to Italy and Greece and we thought a cruise would be a nice idea. After seeing reviews from previous Norweigan cruises we decided to go with this one. The employees are nice, all speak English fluently. The food is excellent in every restaraunt and very clean. Keep in mind that everything is extra including food at the nicer restaurants, drinks, etc. There are no water bottles so those are extra too. Those are located in the cabins in the mink refrigerators. If you can try to book tours outside of the cruise ship. They were selling a Naples tour to Pompei, Sorrento, and Almafi coast for about $350.00 American dollars per person. We found the owner of CBM tours outside of one of the ports luckily and we booked the same tour with him for 69 euros per person and it was great. Our favorite tour the entire trip. The cruise is a bit of a rip off with their prices. Also I was incredibly sea sick for 2 days due to hitting a storm and so was my husband. We never made it to Malta which I was really looking forward to. I understand the weather is unpredictable but it would have been nice for the cruise to offer something for the inconvienance. The ship is a bit outdated especially compared to others I've been on. They have blow dryers in the cabin but they are slow. I brought my own and it could not be plugged in anywhere in the room. I would cruise with ncl again but I will book all of my tours off the ship. Ps if you want to play bingo or deal or no deal its $50 per person, rip off. I enjoyed the food and stops we made it to.
