4th and last time on Regal Princess

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Regal Princess

I have been a long time loyal Princess cruiser, but sadly no more. There are so many things I used to like. It really breaks my heart to write a bad review. Previously, I have always been impressed with their customer service, doing things for me that they did not need to do, in an effort to make a bad situation somewhat better, like not getting my luggage on Enchanted Princess (Not cruise ...

Cruise was good shame about some people

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Majestic Princess

The cabin was very nice - no complaints. We went to all the inclusive restaurants and the food and service were great - absolutely no complaints. There was always something to cater for everyone and when you think of the number of meals they produce it was a well-oiled machine. The buffet catered really well for the number of people. The only time there were real queues were when the ...

The good: - Our room was ready when we got on the ship. - The food was excellent. The beef tenderloin was truly the best we have had on any ship. - We had anytime dining and arrived between 5:15 - 5:30 p.m. The maximum we had to wait was 10 minutes for a table. - Puerto Rico was one of our ports and we loved it. We did the Princess walking tour. Our guide used a microphone and we ...

Not as good as they were.

This is our second time on the Majestic. We had sailed on her in 2019. Cabin mini-suite. Bathroom was still tight but a real bath is nice option. Though the plugs aren’t the best for holding water, especially in the sink for shaving purposes. Balcony was very small for a mini suite, uncovered so no privacy from above. We knew about this though before boarding. Though water drips from deck ...

The crew is the #1 reason to sail on the Caribbean Princess

I cruise solely with Princess, and this is my 5th time on the Caribbean Princess, first time in 2005. I know this ship and the brand. If I don’t say this enough- the crew is the #1 reason to sail with Princess. Embarkment: When you arrive at Port Everglades be prepared to see a line. It move quickly. Tip: Get the medallion in the mail, wear it to the embarkment, and ask where the green ...

TEN DAYS ON THE RUBY PRINCESS

First, the ship. She's a grand dame with elegance and charm, and the Medallion electronics are awesome. Wearing the little coin makes you recognizable to your stateroom door, which unlocks as you approach. It also tells your traveling party as well as servers where on the ship you are, and can even draw a map to find you. There are many more Medallion features which you can look up on your ...

Too big, Too crowded, Average Food

We chose to go on this cruise with 2 other couples for a significant birthday. We had room which was classed as a mini suite however it was the same size as the normal balcony cabins. Queen bed was comfortable, the room itself was small and functional. The bathroom was particularly small and you could only use it one person at a time. We found the food menu/selection/quality very poor. If this is ...

My 1st Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Sky Princess

User Avatar

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

I chose Princess for my 1st cruise, because it has been a lifelong dream. I chose Sky for the itinerary and dates available. We were celebrating our 27th anniversary, and I wanted it to be Special. The room was Beautiful, the steward was Amazing. The weather (which has nothing to do with the cruise line) was Terrible. There was a group of about 900 (almost a third of the guests) together, ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Emerald Princess

What I loved about this cruise was that almost everybody on the ship were 55 or older. No kids and families took this two-week cruise in December. The weather was great. The ship atmosphere was relaxed. Our staff were friendly and attentive. I engaged with most people I came in contact with, asking them how many cruises they have been on, and of course where are they from. (Most everybody ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

Our 8th cruise with Princess, based mostly on itinerary. The Enchanted Princess is identical to the Regal Princess and consequently shares the same pluses and minuses of her sister ship. The ship is in fine shape and well-maintained. The cabins are likewise clean and well-maintained. The cabins all have the annoying motion light near the bathroom door that goes on whenever you pass by it. ...
