We toured Miami on our own and stayed at Hampton brickel. Nice area and the public transportation is goo there. Can use the trolley to save a heap of money if you are not in a hurry. Walked around wynward during day Would do any side streets at night. Saw wynwood walls etc. Little Havana better to see during day I guess bc all was closed but few restaurants in evening and bars much later. ...

Stayed for two nights at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay prior to the cruise. We booked the hotel on our own. Hotel was fine, other than an unfortunate problem at check-in that the hotel staff at reception did not handle well. Very convenient and very good facilities. ...
