My overall experience on this ship was just "meh." I went with my mother, sister, and aunt, and we had two connecting balcony rooms. The rooms feel a little outdated, but thankfully the AC worked well in the rooms and stayed cold throughout most of the night. Our room attendant was great, but he never told us his name! Dinner was the most chaotic thing I have ever experienced on an RCL cruise. We ...
We were taking 17 people for my sons wedding ages ranging from 2-18 with the kids and adults from 37-65. We thought this would be a good choice given all the things the kids could do.
The food had a lot of opportunities, either the hot choices were cold or the cold choices were warm. The main dining choices were not particularly good, food was our number one disappointment!
The service in ...
I traveled with my family(husband, 3 kids, sister, nephew and mother) we were in 3 different cabins and they could not accommodate us to be closer together, we were all in completely opposite sides of the ship. I was surprised to find out everything was additional (restaurants, coffee, drinks child sitting). Overall disappointed and surprised at the lack of entertainments. Needless to say the 4 ...
We'd been sooo looking forward to this cruise cuz of the entertainment, "Fingers Felder" headlining, lotsa others like Moody Blues John Lodge & Jon Davison (John Jr I called him), The Orchestra dong ELO, etc. Those 3 were great, but not as easy to meet & greet AS HOPED. You pay a lotta $$$ to see these stars. Queen Nation was wonderful to hear & also to get autographs & pics with, John Lodge did ...
We pick this cruise because it is a Charter Music Cruise which can't be beat!! But I will focus on the ship itself. We had a Conscierge Suite (3rd time) & we do like it. The bathroom is updated with a glass enclosed decent shower & vanity. Our room steward gave us excellent service & kept the room spotless....we seldom saw him. The balcony is quite small but easily sat two people out there. We ate ...
Booked this cruise for my three children for spring break 2023. Freedom of the seas ship overall could use an upgrade - this is less noticeable in the common areas but very noticeable in guest rooms. The food was plentiful but average overall. We did have a nice italian dinner one night. Dining rooms were chaotic and our assigned table was not available. Staff in general are trying very hard but ...
We chose this cruise to have a family vacation during our grandson's Spring Break. So we have always gone to Disney since our children 39 and 37 were young but it has gotten so hectic at the parks we thought we would try a cruise. It is like being in the parks on a packed day! The dining room is so full of tables your servers have trouble bringing your food. If anyone has a disability they are ...
TLDR; While we had multiple small issues with our vacation, we still ended up having a good time. The staff and food were amazing, the physical problems with our room and app were the major turn offs. Would we sail Carnival again? Likely no unless it was a family/friend group trip.
This was my first Carnival cruise since I was 16 (I'm 45 now) and I always had fond memories of those boats and ...
We sailed March 11-18th on Harmony of the Seas. I must say that this really was a pretty flawless sailing and we had a ball. Despite it being great, I still have recommendations. We completed the online check in at home and embarkation was fast. I made an error when I booked this trip and chose the guarantee balcony cabin category. We knew we were gambling with allowing RC to pick a cabin for us ...
We got back a week ago from the 5 day Key West/ Cozumel cruise and we enjoyed all of it.
The ship is smaller about 2200 people which means it was never overly crowded anywhere. It is very well maintained and clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
Our cabin (Aquaclass) was more than comfortable enough for the 2 of us. And it came with a bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy ...
