Had a great time on this cruise, weather was nice, staff was great.I thought food was good and had a very good supper on our anniversary in chops. This is the second time on this 12 day cruise and rebooked for next Dec.Had a good time at the ports we stopped at although St.Maartin has a ways to go and needs the business to get them going after the hurricanes that went through. There was considerable ...

Been on this cruise 5 years running. Love departing from Baltimore. Ship is just the right size for us. Crew has always been excellent. Cabin is small but efficient. Lots of storage space. Room steward was excellent. The first three days we had a problem with the thermostat. It was ice cold no matter where it was set. It took three days and three visits from the engineer to fix it. It would have ...

Relaxing in old and rusty ship

I chose this cruise based on itinerary and price. You get what you pay for. The ship is old and there is new carpeting, but the beds need replacing, and the outside of the ship needs lots of work (i.e. rust everywhere and when it rains it leaks heavily in the schooner bar). It was relaxing as the pools are heated, the food and service in the dining room good. Not so good in the Windjammer (and ...

I read where the ship was refinished. I was on the Grandeur two years ago when it leak water in the Centrum. We had an issue for the first three nights. 1. the room was not ready. we got no ice the first night. things were not wiped down. 2. The bed was mate were old and brown , folded in half on each bed, causing the Mattress to separate and my wife ended up in a hole two night. The ...

Baltimore was very easy for parking, boarding and disembarking. Also, very smooth cruise. Enjoyed the production shows and the headliners (especilly ROOKIE). Cruise Director Bob and assistant, T. Tonya along with their staff were hard working, entertaining and always pleasant. The servers and staff were all friendly and gave great service and our cabin attendant, Oxille, was wonderful. I ...

Grandeur of the Seas (9-day southeastern coast and Bahamas). This is my evaluation only. Embarkation: • Had a relative drop us off in front of the terminal and our bags placed on carts. As many years as Royal Caribbean has been using this home port, a large sign would go a long ways to denote where their drop off area is. When we arrived we asked a person directing traffic and she pointed ...

This cruise was recommended and affordable for my husband and I. We had an amazing experience. We were served with smiles and excellent customer service with every interaction. Dining was great with Desmond and Loxely, such excellent quality service. Natalie in the fitness center was a joy and delight to take classes with. Entertainment was superior. The cabin was always kept in excellent ...

Price was excellent, driving distance to boat, easy on and off boat. That said with 6 cruises under my belt I figured I know a few things about cruising. A few. Don't beat me up diamond cruise club members. I'm working on it. Cleanliness on the boat is less than Disney as is entertainment. Great cabin steward, superb dining crew (Simona and Tushar this means you!) This was my first Royal ...

Good deal for the ports that we wanted to visit and have cruised with RCI on the Grandeur before. Our room steward, Roy, was very atttentive to our needs and always fulfilled everything that we needed. Loved the eveing surprise "towel animals" when we returned to our room at night. Dining staff in main dining room were remarkable....Avdesh and Atul....went way beyond what was sufficient. ...

we have been on this ship several times since she came out. She is smaller, but still has class. The ports were terrific. Food was great in all parts of eating areas. Alexis, the head waiter from Portugal, was terrific. As were several others. Ship was clean. Most of the staff were terrific. If there was a problem, it was taking care of in a timely manner. Stateroom smaller than expected, ...
