The cruise ship was our wedding venue!

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Coral Princess

We got married on the cruise. We had 13 guests. After the cruise we said good-bye to them and went on a 2 week honeymoon in Hawaii. The 4 night cruise turned out being perfect (3 nights would have been too short). We had chosen the wedding package "At sea" that cost $3,000 which included the things described on the website: cake, flowers, dinner and breakfast for 2 (awesome), etc. Doesn't ...

A relaxing 4-night cruise and overall positive experience

This cruise came about when my wife and I wanted a quick getaway. We were were on the Ruby last year in Alaska and were looking to take it's repositioning trip south but the Coral itinerary (stopping once in Astoria) was better so that was that. The ship does have a few odd perks. Buffet is forward instead of aft, restaurants are also forward. International cafe is open to the casino, a ...

Staff excellent- nothing was too much trouble for them. All equally good. Food really good, with service too match. Cabin was also excellent. Plenty of on board activities on on shore excursions for those who wanted them. 10 out of 10 in all respects - would definitely book this ship again - if we do I hope they have the same staff. We did not use all the facilities, but those we did use were ...

Princess did not deliver

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Coral Princess

We picked this cruise to see Alaska, especially the inside passage and Ketchikan. Although scheduled, the cruise skipped both. That was extremely disappointing. Princess did nothing to make up for it. The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient, especially in the bars and restaurants. The food varied from good to poor, but there was a lot of it. The drink “packages” were overpriced, I ...

Do not book this ship for an Alaskan Cruise!!!

We booked this ship for a family vacation with extended family and we were all deeply disappointed in this cruise. We all travelled together on Princess approx. 10 years ago and the quality of service and food has greatly declined since our first cruise. During bad weather (wind) this ship is unable to dock in Ketchikan. While 2 other ships were able to dock shortly before us the Coral ...

I just really have always wanted to take an Alaskan cruise. The Coral Princess in September was a wonderful experience. The crowds were smaller and the weather was just about perfect. There was not a mosquito to be found. The shore excursions were first rate. The stops in Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway offered a variety of experiences. There was plenty of time for shopping and exploring even with ...

We were excited to travel with a group of friends on our first Alakan cruise. The check in was awesome. On the night of our 2nd day my husband became ill....bronchitis like symptoms. The next morning he and I went to breakfast....many people were displaying signs of illness. My husband then went back to bed where he spent the next 2 days. The following day 3 more in our group were ...

I have to say straight away that the natural beauty of Alaska is GREAT, and reading the following review should not deter anyone from going to see such a wonderful place. Looking over the side of the ship to see Pacific White-Sided dolphins and Orca whales playing in the ship's wake is a real thrill. The train ride in Skagway is Great - The Glaciers are AWESOME. So for the Natural Beauty ...

Incredible shore experiences

I wanted to get my National Parks Passport stamped at Denali NP and Glacier Bay NP. This land/cruise tour offered those opportunities. We were escorted from the time our plane landed in Fairbanks until we arrived at Vancouver Airport a week later. All excursions were extremely well organized and presented. We loved everything we experienced on shore. Aboard the ship, we found it difficult ...
