We booked this ship for a family vacation with extended family and we were all deeply disappointed in this cruise. We all travelled together on Princess approx. 10 years ago and the quality of service and food has greatly declined since our first cruise.

During bad weather (wind) this ship is unable to dock in Ketchikan. While 2 other ships were able to dock shortly before us the Coral Princess was unable to dock and decided to keep sailing towards our final destination at half speed in rough waters. Not a fun day. Missing 1 of 3 stops was extremely disappointing. Since this was an expected shore day they were very short staffed on this day. Service was non existence. The should not be sailing to Alaska with ships that are unable to dock when every other ship is able to. Holland America passengers were told that our ship did not have powerful enough thrusters to get us to the dock. Princess should not be using this ship for Alaska if they are unable to dock when every other ship is able to.

Dinning room was HORRIBLE for the first three days. Our entire party walked out twice. Service was fixed once we spoke to head of Dinning who made sure we had proper service. Entertainment was lacking. They had the same two comedians for the first 4 nights. We sailed with Princess 10 years ago and the level of entertainment and service was much lower than previously experienced. GLACIER BAY WAS AMAZING!!
