Excellent but could do with some improvements

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Azamara Quest

We had a wonderful time on the Quest and enjoyed the size of ship as have traveled on the Oceania identical ships. The choice of food and quality were generally excellent though a few meals were cold on delivery. The dining room staff were also excellent most of the times but a few nights the waiting staff were very slow and mucked up the orders. Overall the staff were amazing and couldn’t ...

Israel, Egypt & Cypress: excellent excursions, good food, and good service

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Journey

While searching for cruise-related information on the internet, I noticed an offer from Azamara for a last-minute deal on a cruise to Cypress, Israel, and Egypt. The price was excellent--less than I had just paid for a Princess cruise of the same length 2 months earlier. When I first saw the ship from the outside, I was taken aback as it appeared to be a much older-looking ship than I imagined. ...

Wonderful destinations, food, personnel, but rooms are tired

I actually am enjoying our cruise. The people on the ship are genuinely kind. The food is fantastic. The destinations are fabulous. Personnel: They really care about their customers. I have food allergies and they made sure I was always safe. Vira made sure my preordered meal was available to me during the White Night Buffet. That’s service. Our stateroom attendant, Ketut, is always working ...

AZAMARA QUEST Sept 2022 Club continent suite. There were approx 520 guests on board (max capacity 690) Greece dropped the need to have a negative covid test the day we boarded!. The first thing our butler said was "there were only a few Covid cases in the previous week". Then mid way the captain announced 4 cases in isolation, but the rumour was that there were up to 13 positive . ...

I was not a seasoned cruiser , I had only been on a Carnival, Holland America , Oceana , Windstar , Regent and One River Cruise . We decided to do the Ireland Intensive and one more to France , Portugal and Spain . It wound up being Twenty Seven Back To Backs on the Quest . We did Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain , Malta , Bali, New Zealand, Australia , Greece twice , all the way to Singapore , ...

Excellent cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We chose this cruise as the itinerary included a stop close to Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix. The original itinerary was mooring at nearby Villefranche sur Mer but this was changed to Monaco where we tendered ashore for the race. We had a balcony cabin which was nicely furnished and had UBS ports. Masks were advised and the staff always wore them. The cruise was at the end of the period of ...

Terrible Dining Room, Great Ship and Crew

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azamara Quest

First, the Captain and crew were very good. The Captain regularly and calmly kept the passengers up to date on the number of COVID cases (both passenger and crew), and every officer and crew member we encountered during the voyage was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Service both in making up our room, to the pool deck, and dining room was very good and at times exceptional (a term we ...

Let's preface this review by saying we are long time Celebrity cruisers. So we tend to compare against Celebrity. First off, let me say that we had a terrific time. The guests we met were very chatty and dare I say it......more friendly than Celebrity guests on the whole. The cruise was to western med during COVID so many of the guests were British. I'd say, empirically speaking, the ship ...

Azamara Quest vs Oceania R-Class Review - Sophisticated Cruiser over 50+ cruise

I just want to make a couple of points in comparison of these two lines as many on board have sailed on both lines. As a matter of fact just over one month prior I did a 31 day "Around Australia Circumnavigation with New Guinea, Bali, Komodo Island on the Oceania R-Class 1. I am not loyal cruise ship passenger. My priorities are first the itinerary, then the quality of the ship/ line ...

This 26 night cruise started in Cape Town and was to end in Dubai. Sadly Corona Virus decided to intervene which resulted in the cruise missing many ports of call and a premature ending in Muscat which was not a planned port of call. Many countries refused us entry due to the fear of cruise ships being floating Petri dishes. There was a daily update from the Captain regarding our situation and ...
