We chose this cruise as the itinerary included a stop close to Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix. The original itinerary was mooring at nearby Villefranche sur Mer but this was changed to Monaco where we tendered ashore for the race.

We had a balcony cabin which was nicely furnished and had UBS ports.

Masks were advised and the staff always wore them. The cruise was at the end of the period of tight control and things were loosening up a bit. Most passengers did not wear them at any time but we, and others, wore them when we were in busy areas such as tenders or in queues- we also wore them at the airport and on the planes. On excursions sometimes masks were required others not - it depended on the country. We did not catch Covid but there were other passengers walking about with persistent coughs (which may or may not have been Covid). We also know a number of people who have come back from cruises or foreign travel that did not wear masks but came back with Covid. We had to get a test before we boarded but they didn’t pay much attention to it- they looked more closely at our vaccination records.
