We had not been on Seabourn and very much enjoyed our first trip. Nice people. Pleasant staff and generally a product that is a notch up from other lines we’ve been on.

Sapphire was built in 2004 and refurbished in 2018.
It hold ups to 2670 passengers and up to 1100 crew. That's a nice crew to passenger ratio.
This smaller ship really provides wonderful service. We took a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles from October 8th-15th, 2023.
I would have given them a 4 1/2 stars, but that wasn't a choice.

This is our second trip on Majestic in two years; the first of which was to New Zealand.
THE GOOD
The good news is that the overall energy level has much improved since our lethargic NZ experience. The cruise director and his staff did a great job of keeping us all engaged and there was fun enjoyed by all.

We chose this cruise due to the departure port (Vancouver) for a quick getaway. Vancouver to LA (stops in Astoria, Santa Barbara, San Diego).

We booked the 6 Day Wine Country & Pacific Northwest Cruise on Noordam (Neptune Suite 7081) immediately following the 14-Day Great Alaskan Explorer which we took in Noordam’s Neptune Suite 7088. Got home yesterday from our 10 day cruise to the California coast on the Crown. This was my second cruise with Princess. We went on on Sept 20 for 53 nights. From Vancouver to Sydney, then Sydney to Queensland, Sydney to New Zealand. The value of the cruise was great. The food is great. We had friends cruise together and that was so much fun.
