We chose this cruise due to the departure port (Vancouver) for a quick getaway. Vancouver to LA (stops in Astoria, Santa Barbara, San Diego).

Weather in Vancouver was perfect for sail-away, and it's always great fun to leave under the Lion's Gate Bridge. The seas were like glass the entire cruise.

The ship seemed in great shape, and the crew was by far the friendliest of any large cruise line that we've experienced. The captain was very entertaining and informative in his daily briefings (although he did not sound happy with the delay we experienced in Santa Barbara getting the okay from port authorities to disembark for our port stay).
