Overall Silversea remains a top quality luxury cruise product. Unfortunately, embarkation for this cruise was the most unprofessional fiasco EVER experienced with "any" cruise. I chose this cruise because the 7 day itinerary fitted in with a trip to Vancouver, Alaska and Seattle of nearly 4 weeks. Our tenth cruise on Silversea and first since COVID was overall a very good experience. Embarkation was outside on a very windy ground level pier. Silver moon is brand new and very well designed. A rather bulky exterior makes for a very appealing and spaceous interior for the 600 guests. We picked this Alaska cruise for timing and length with our work schedules. This was my first time in Alaska and my partner's second.
