The itinerary of this cruise through the Greek islands was great! A stop almost every day. One day at sea towards Venice Italy. However the ship itself needs updating. Our room was in need of a bit of repair. The food was mediocre at best. The activities on board were mid as well. The cruise left us at a port that did not have transport options (Ravenna, Italy) and we need to pay for a 3 ...
My husband and I always wanted to visit Greece and Israel and what a perfect way to see them. Pros-hospitality was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Food was delish especially Cagney Steak House and Jasmine Garden Asian Restaurant. Night life Entertainment was very good from listening to Rami to Nightlife Duos…Fantabulous!!! Drinks were great especially when they were made by James over at the ...
We enjoyed this as a family but helped to have adjoining room for two teens. We had inside state rooms but next time would choose a balcony for after excursion. Not all ports all day so that was a bummer and limited on what you can do at port. Space inside cabin ok but small. Kids thought pool too small for amount of people. Did not use pool in solarium because way too hot overall. Gym ok ...
We chose this cruise, knowing Celebrity from previous cruises and because of the itinerary . It was not Celebrity at its best, but close behind.
Highlights were Kusadasi (Efesos) and Hydra. Low were Santorini. You have one low capacity cablecar to get up /down to/from the town. With 3 cruise ships at the same time it resulted in long waiting times, up to 3 hours.
The ship could do with a ...
My son is turning 50 and my granddaughter is turning 18. We wanted to do something really special and booked this 9 day cruise out of Athens. We were 6 all together and even though the Connie is old, it had the perfect itinerary that included Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Ephesus, Kotor and supposedly ended in Venice ( at time of booking). I book through the Casino and they gave me a concierge ...
Just returned from this 10 day of Italy, Turkey and Greek Islands. Celebrity is very service oriented and this cruise did not disappoint. Staff were fantastic. We choose the Aqua Class and enjoyed the Blu restaurant for 9 of our evenings. Staff ate the best. Deni, Yuken, Chad, Marly are the absolute best. Appreciated the cleanliness of ship. Only downside is the age and wear of ship. Rooms are in ...
I travelled with my husband and 18 year old daughter. We chose this cruise for its amazing itinerary, particularly for the stops in Israel which is a destination we have always wanted to visit.
Embarkation
Embarkation in Piraeus (Athens) was very slow. We had long waits in three different rooms before we were able to board the ship.
The Ship
The ship is older and does not have all of ...
Right out the gate I must report that it was a great cruise! The Norwegian Jade is a beautiful ship that has recently seen an overhaul. It is clean and well appointed. However there are ome things to not that are very minor. The Atrium does not have a bar. Very strange albeit it is a smaller area than others with no glass elevators. It has a coffee shop and that is all for refreshments. The ...
Our Most Challenging Cruise and Trip to Date: 22 days from Rome to Israel
In November 2019, we had been on a wonderful B2B cruise in the western and eastern Mediterranean on the MSC Grandiosa and the NCL Spirit. We were excited to return to Israel to see more sites and experience history and culture, so we booked the NCL Epic from Nov 3-15, 2022. This 2022 cruise was far more challenging than ...
We chose this cruise purely for the itinerary and the dates. Seabourn was not available for what we needed.
At first we thought we were impressed with the food, but the longer we travelled, we discovered that the menus in the speciality restaurants were disappointing. The Japanese and French themed one (the latter costing $120 per couple extra) were neither Japanese nor French in culture, nor ...
