Right out the gate I must report that it was a great cruise! The Norwegian Jade is a beautiful ship that has recently seen an overhaul. It is clean and well appointed. However there are ome things to not that are very minor. The Atrium does not have a bar. Very strange albeit it is a smaller area than others with no glass elevators. It has a coffee shop and that is all for refreshments. The restaurants on board closed fairly early and with the exception of the Irish Bar and stateroom service there were not any food options after 9:30 pm. The ice cream machines which I have enjoyed in the past are no longer 24 hour options. The excursions on this trip were long and exhausting with guides that spoke English poorly. If you want to see the religious sights you really need to take an excursion as they are generally well inland. All of the ports and their peoples were overly friendly and were great destinations. A big plus on this cruise in early spring is a lack of children, teenagers and spring breakers. It seems more quiet than other cruises and it is easy to find a seat at a bar or a lounger at the pool. I would recommend this cruise.
Nice cabins, comfortable beds. Very low noise, did not hear any neighbors. I always cruise with a balcony for fresh air. AC and heat worked great. Good water pressure in the shower.
