My family and I choose "Bacular Fort and 7 Colors Lagoon". The description of the activities sounded great. It lasted 6 hours. The ride to the Lagoon was 90 minutes. Fine. However, our tour guide told us nothing of the area or history. We arrived and changed into bathing suits. A boat took us to two spots in the lagoon for those who were interested to take a dip. Symphony of the Seas is probably a decent ship for kids. But this cruise is loud, noisy, truly terrible main dining room food, and not worth the trouble.
I have been on other royal Caribbean cruises that were better. Princess is a better cruise line.

My mom, DD (8) and I sailed this ship/itinerary in August and loved it. We went back for a short getaway and brought my father along.
We used ScootAround for my father. It was very easy to get the scooter in the terminal and return it in the terminal on exit.

We chose this cruise to treat our son and grand-daughters (12 and 15 years old).
It was their first experience. Everything turned out perfectly! From embarkation (10 minutes!) to disembarkation (10 minutes!). We had done the check-in online in October and had printed out our Sea passes...that's why everything was so fast!
