My family and I choose "Bacular Fort and 7 Colors Lagoon". The description of the activities sounded great. It lasted 6 hours. The ride to the Lagoon was 90 minutes. Fine. However, our tour guide told us nothing of the area or history. We arrived and changed into bathing suits. A boat took us to two spots in the lagoon for those who were interested to take a dip. Again, no explanation by the ...
We are a puertorrican family composed by mom (47), dad (48), daughters (19 and 21). In January 2 we fly from Puerto Rico to Ft Lauderdale, to board Symphony of the Seas on January 4. We stay in Hampton Inn Coconut Groove/Coral Gables, a small hotel with breakfast included, very good price per night and the best location ever (close to restaurants, parks, the train and public transportation), and ...
My wife and I cruised on the Symphony of the Seas in January 2019 to the Western Caribbean. This was our 27th cruise overall, 11th on Royal, 4th on their mega ships. We are in our 60’s and usually cruise to a more interesting location as we’ve cruised the Caribbean too much. However, she attended a conference on this cruise so we had no choice on location or timing. Overall it was a good cruise ...
Symphony of the Seas is probably a decent ship for kids. But this cruise is loud, noisy, truly terrible main dining room food, and not worth the trouble.
I have been on other royal Caribbean cruises that were better. Princess is a better cruise line.
The show Hairspray was five star excellent!!!!
. The bars have great bartenders! But the gym has old dangerous awful- poor equipment. ...
My mom, DD (8) and I sailed this ship/itinerary in August and loved it. We went back for a short getaway and brought my father along.
We used ScootAround for my father. It was very easy to get the scooter in the terminal and return it in the terminal on exit.
The ship is still being kept up well and looks nice. However, there were some changes that were not for the better.
In August, ...
We love cruising and have cruised 4 times in the past 3 years! This was my first time on the Mariner of the seas and I was excited for my small children to experience the Perfect Day at CocoCay. This cruise fell short of my expectations and truly left a lot to be desired. Boarding was easy and painless. It only took about 20 minutes from the parking lot to the ship. For this review, I will begin ...
May I start by saying that I am a big fan of Royal Caribbean and have sailed her many times. This cruise, however, seemed to lack something and I, along with my son"s help, think we have it figured out. Navigator does 4 night cruised out of Miami going to Nassau and Coco Cay. With this in mind the crew and passengers don't seem to have a lot of time to get to know each other and the lack of ...
We chose this cruise for our family Christmas present. Eight of us age 12,14,16 and five adults went. We chose it primarily for the ship activities and CoCo Cay, their private island.
Best thing was the evening dining. Our wait staff was great and food was wonderful.
The worse thing was the huge crowds at everything, standing in forever lines, the nickel and diming for every little ...
We chose this cruise to treat our son and grand-daughters (12 and 15 years old).
It was their first experience. Everything turned out perfectly! From embarkation (10 minutes!) to disembarkation (10 minutes!). We had done the check-in online in October and had printed out our Sea passes...that's why everything was so fast!
The longest wait was in the car waiting to pass the check points ...
Sailed 5 times and Second Sailing on the Anthem this year and they made a very big change to App Since My last Sailing in April. For one they took away any Msg or IMsg service without notifying anyone. It will now cost you at least the min data package and with a family of 20 for the new Year Cruise we could of dished out over $2000 dollars for 8 days. They said there testing a new app on 3 other ...
