Cruising the Bahamas? Coco Cay Was Amazing, Blue Lagoon Was NOT!
"), but Royal's main dining room food was decent enough we'd sail with them again. The service was a little slow in the main dining areas for breakfast and lunch, though the wait staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating at all times...."Read More

Excellent place to be honest

I was recommended to take this cruise by a friend. This is my first cruise and will no be my last. I enjoyed the dining experience. All employees made my stay extravagant. This place has many activities to enjoy. I loved the experience the employees offered while I was there. They waiters gave us their undivided attention and took care of us in every restaurant that we had reservations in. I ...

Great ship - Not quite child friendly

Review for Anthem of the Seas to Bahamas

The Anthem is a beautiful ship that is both clean and inviting. Cruising with a two year old added new perspectives to our cruising activities and I feel like Anthem fell short here. The Royal Babies and Tots was geared towards infants and it did not seem like a toddler would enjoy it all. It looked sad and boring compared to the older child rooms and we chose not to use the babysitting. We did ...

Review of 12/6 cruise and traveling with kids: pros and cons I’m writing this review now while waiting to disembark here in Bayonne. Family of four with a one year old and almost four year old. Hopefully this info will be helpful to traveling families. Pros, Cons and Thoughts on the cruise: Easy embarkation. While one kid had to take a PCR, Royal Caribbean (RC) made the process very ...

What a great ship!!

First time on the Anthem and my first time on this class of ships, but definitely not my last. I enjoyed every aspect of this cruise and it exemplified the reasons behind loving Royal Caribbean as a whole. First, the food! It was outstanding in every single venue where I ate. Because I was traveling solo, I ate in different dining rooms with different groups of solos, so I had a chance to ...

We have traveled previously on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America and Azamara. On Royal Caribbean, we are Diamond members. This was my 2nd Anthem cruise. Great overall! Beware of arcade scam

Great entertainment, great food, and excellent service. Be aware that the kids' arcade (run by the casino) has a very sneaky, unethical practice. We were charged about $200 over the amount we paid for arcade credits. We wasted a lot of time dealing with this headache. What we learned is, there is no way to check how many credits you have left. The only way to know you've gone over the limit is by ...

We sailed RCC once years ago and were not impressed, but this cruise came along at an excellent price, driving distance, good reviews and fully vaccinated. Decided that if it could even be mediocre, we would be happy just to be at sea again. Strangely, most things turned out to be amazing - either amazingly good or amazingly bad. Amazingly good: Embarkation was excellent, the best we have ...

Glad to be back Cruising

We originally selected the Anthem because it was going to Coco Cay, and for the ship activities. We were disappointed with some of the ship activities because it was impossible to get any time to go on them. For instance, you could only reserve time on the IFly on port days, at 8am. Even though every port day I was on the app before 8am, we could never get a reservation time. Same thing ...

Fun Ship with Lots to Do!

I have been on Anthem of the Seas for a total of 4 times, and never grow tired of it. This ship has been in service for a few years but is still well maintained and beautiful. The rooms are nicely appointed. This time, I had an inside virtual balcony for the very first time. I am used to having at least a oceanview, but really enjoyed this experience. The food on the ship was excellent, ...

The cruise overall was amazing. The best part of the itinerary was Coco Cay. What a long way Coco Cay has come. Service was I really great and for the most part friendly. The ship was clean, modern, comfortable, and efficient. You can definitely get lost in the ship, but the app really helps you figure out where you are. Captain Ban and his crew also successfully navigated the rough seas for our ...
