Our first cruise post COVID restrictions and got a great deal round UK and across to France. Plus good deal on drinks/wifi/gratuities package - £30/day/person (note - limit 15 drinks per day). The big complaint was that Princess changed itinerary 4 times, removing Guernsey, Cork and finally adding France to make it first "international cruise" with including passengers from USA and Canada. The big ...
Three of us chose the British Isles cruise to avoid tests and paperwork, however five days before sailing we were informed we were going to France. This caused us so much stress along with the useless medallion. Spent ages gettting a time to embark but when we got to the port it was a free for all. It wasn't even organised chaos.
The ship was lovely but the food was disgusting. In the main ...
Booked cruise for first part of our Anniversary with a Deluxe Balcony Cabin number E331.
First surprise was the use of the Medallion for everything even to open cabin door with a personal welcome message. Ordering drinks and food on app meant that Waiters could locate you wherever you were on ship...amazing.
Beautiful Cabin lots of space clean and tidy.
Cabin Steward very attentive to our ...
We are Elite passengers with Princess having completed nearly 20 cruises. Princess do go that bit extra that's for sure, rarely have we had a grumpy crew member, all have been helpful, polite and cheerful. The Medalion worked faultlessly for us and it was great to order a drink from ANYWHERE on the ship and hey presto, it comes direct to you.
Pre cruising Covid Testing at Southampton was very ...
We chose this cruise primarily because of the free car parking and onboard spend offer, plus having the opportunity to go ashore independently in Portland, Belfast and Liverpool.
The service onboard in the restaurants and bars was excellent, with a very friendly and welcoming crew. We had a lovely room stewardess who took great care of us. It is a beautiful ship and with only 1250 guests ...
We have cruised with Princess many times, this would be our first time on Regal Princess, or any other ship this size. Because of Covid the ship was only half full and adults only. It was seven nights in duration, and calling at Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock (for Glasgow).
Embarkation/Disembarkation
We had already completed all the documentation requirements on the Medallion App, and ...
My review is based on my experience and the elements important to me. I travelled solo in a balcony cabin on the base fare.
Medallion App
Pre departure experience was disappointing, the app needs a re work and it caused a lot of stress. On board the support was brilliant and then it worked fine, look forward to it being involved in the future to include more elements
Terminal ...
Second time to Southampton this year after a break on Regal Princess in August so we knew the port protocol for Covid testing. No issue for us as the people were all friendly and very helpful. then off the ship, unload and have our car taken for parking, again all quick and painless for us. Checking in was easier than Regal where the medallion app appeared to fail on a regular basis.
Lovely ...
My wife and I were on board Sky Princess for 6 nights in September. The last time we cruised with Princess was in 2013 on Emerald Princess, we were supposed to be on Ruby Princess in 2020 but the Pandemic cancelled our cruise, therefore we were really looking forward to this Seacations Cruise. We were not disappointed as the organisation by Princess particularly in terms of Covid Protocols was ...
Our room was beautiful and very comfortable albeit a little small. The bathroom was also small but the shower was powerful. We were midship A441, near the lifts. No noise at all and very convenient.
We tried the specialty restaurants Crown Grill and Sabatini’s. The service in both was outstanding. We particularly like Sabatini’s. The steaks in Crown Grill were very tasty. The food in the MDR ...
