On Deck 6 & 12 there are many, many inaugural port plaques on the wall. An impressive display that says this ship has-been-there-done-that. Excellent service as always, food good in all complimentary options and excellent in speciality options, and plenty of choice for things to do both on the ship and on excursions. Although, we had been to these ports several times before, we had not tried out the Breakaway and this cruise put us into platinum.
This time going our of Orlando, we stayed in Coco Beach, Courtyard Marriott. We went in a day early and stayed over a day after the cruise. Hotel was excellent, will post on TripAdvisor. We ate both lunch and dinner at the Pier.

I found a super deal on an inside room. $149 pp for a 5 day cruise is crazy. I did bid on an upgrade but it was not accepted.

We chose this cruise due to the reasonable prices. We normally cruise Celebrity, Princess or Royal Caribbean but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this ship. I was concerned about it feeling too crowded after reading other reviews but the ship has many different areas that make it feel more intimate and private.

We had a great time on this ship! Loved the entertainment! Six was amazing! The Waterfront was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view! Especially at Shakers, the martini bar. Do yourself a favor and try the Rum Cake Martini as an after dinner drink!

This was our 15th cruise and 3rd on NCL. I had a great time but that said, would probably pick a different class of ship next time. This was the largest ship we have been on and think we prefer the 3,000 passenger size better. Breakaway had a ton of options to try but if you are looking for a traditional ship feel then this wasn’t it.
