Great Service, Great Food on Allure

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We returned from a 4-night cruise on Allure. It's still a great ship about to go into much-needed dry dock. The good: 1. Embarkation and debarkation. The cruise port staff is wonderful. Parking at the port wasn't too bad when the garage opened at 10:00 a.m. We had The Key and it was worth the money for boarding the ship early, as well as the wonderful disembarkation day breakfast ...

Great but Some Minor Improvements Needed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Great ship in good shape but with some minor improvements needed. Embarkation- simple and easy. From entering the terminal to getting on the ship was 15 minutes. They really have this down to a science. The ship- older but mostly clean and in good shape. Adventure is solidly in the mid-size category for RCI. It's big enough to not feel cramped and doesn't feel crowded except in the ...

Haven Not Worth It

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Jade

The Haven is not worth the money. First day we were forgotten and waited a very long time to be helped, there was a stain on my son’s bed, in room phone wouldn’t stay charged most of the time so if we needed anything we had to find our butler, we had the drink package but if we ordered drinks to our room we would be charged, no free laundry services, empty mini fridge, warm welcome champagne, ...

Good Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Our cruise was great. The weather was sunny and warm. The ship was well maintained and they had a very friendly crew. Shows and entertainment were very good. Only two disappointments: The first one was that the Garden Buffet too small and there was not a great selection of food options. The second one: the casino did not have a non-smoking area, reeked of smoke and was very dark and uninviting ...

This was our first ever cruise , home now with Covid which isn't NCL fault , Food was very much same every day ( got boring ) unless your eating in the specialty restaurants , Le bistro was by far the best meal , went to the MODERNO CHURRASCARIA which was awful , chicken was served and was blood raw in parts , side dishes of potato etc was served 20 minutes before anything else so was cold ...

Enjoyed Staying at Towneplace Suites on Butler. Very clean, wonderful warm customer service, pool, guest laundry, breakfast included. Chuy's next door, and Pollo Tropical just past Chuy's. Pre-cruise through GoPort. After cruise on our own. GoPort-impressive. Very smooth process. Emailed us the night prior when to be in hotel lobby. Down to lobby in morning-uniformed rep in lobby ...

We took our whole family on the Carnival Glory for four days to the Bahamas. This was 4 college students, older sister, fiancee and us "oldling" parents. The Glory had just arrived from Barcelona after a refit. The ship was very clean and did look refreshed. Embarkation was smooth and the sail away party was up to the usual Carnival rowdiness i.e. lots of fun. The food in the buffet was great with ...

All and all, not great.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Freedom

Overall, the cruise served its purpose...a few days of R&R. With that said, Carnival really needs to up their game with regard to food quality. In short it was horrible. The MDR was the worst for dinner, I sent 3 of 4 meals back. The only dinner that was actually good was the up charged Filet and Lobster tail which was very much worth it. The Lido buffet was not much better, with a good variety ...

NCL Jade was excellent classic cruising

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

User Avatar

NCL Jade was classic cruising. Karaoke, buffets, pina coladas by the pool, trivia, piano players, cigar bar, night club on top deck, main dining room, excursions on port stops, private island, shows in the theater. My only criticism is that I didn’t love the food in the Alizar dining room. But the Jade had specialty dining and a 24 hour sports bar, and I got great food at both. With the ...

NCL has hit rock bottom with cuts and low quality

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

User Avatar

I usually do not review but others should know how down hill NCL has gone. The food, unless you pay for the specialty meals, is beyond horrible. They have changed out everything including having no hamburger pickles for your hamburger. The food overall is below poor and anywhere NCL can cut, they have. We paid for a suite, we had a suite prior to covid. This suite services and those a few ...
