The food was mediocre at best. The service was below par. Most of the staff was NOT friendly beyond a hello. The services, organizations were not good. The fact that you had to pay extra for more restaurants than other ships and pay for "special" foods such as lobster and a decent steak in the main dining room is unacceptable!! Lobster and decent steak in part of the weekly menu on every other ...

Embarkation: We flew into Orlando on Friday night before the cruise and stayed in a hotel near Orlando airport. We had a private car pick us up to take us to Port Canaveral. The car was on time and very comfortable. We got to Port Canaveral around 12:15. The lines to drop off were LONG... We waited to be dropped for over 30 minutes. When we finally got dropped off, we again waited in a long ...

This ship is definitely not for kids. Yes it has slides and pools but the slides are a pain to find the entrance to get on and unless your kid can touch in over 5' of water and knows how to swim there is no pool for them other than an area maybe 10'x8' that is about 3 inches of water. One of our servers in the manhatten you could definitely tell didn't want to be there. We seemed like we were ...

1st I need to stipulate we're loyal to RCL cruisers (Diamond level), so we gave up lots of perks (get that NCL, free perks) to give NCL a go. We booked last minute to sail with family who are NCL enthusiasts. I kept a running log of pluses & minuses throughout the . I kept a running log of pluses & minuses throughout the week to track all the "goods and bads", not necessarily compared to RCL, ...

Having chosen the Norwegian Dawn for our first cruise fourteen years ago, we decided to revisit NCL after a number of cruises with Cunard, Celebrity, Holland America and P&O. However we wished we had'nt. The ship is enormous and there was a constant feeling of there being too many people. There were no quiet lounges and there was loud music paying in all the public areas constantly. The only ...

Pretty but Unenjoyable

We chose this cruise as a small group activity for 6 that included Disney World & Kennedy Space Center visits. The ship looks great in advertisements, but failed to live up to expectations. Too many people all the time at the same locations. No nooks & cranies to find a private space to gather. All activities centered on 3 decks interlocked so that any one activity was being shared by the ...

Review Norwegian Epic 7 day cruise to Virgin Islands and Bahamas Overall rating 2 out of 5. Will not travel on this ship again and that sentiment was shared by most of the people we talked to, especially the veteran travelers. Ship is nice décor and was very clean. The Stewards did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms and all ship areas were very clean. Getting on the ship is a nightmare. ...

We did not like their freestyle dining; would have preferred a set time for dinner so we can get to know the wait staff. Food in the dining room was good, but not great. The buffet was as expected...everything cold. For breakfast and lunch, go to Taste Restaurant instead. Food was very good in the extra-cost rooms: Cagney’s, Teppanyaki, and Moderno Churrascaria. O’shannons was good for a ...

I took this cruise with a club my wife and I belonged to. I have sailed on Princess many times ,once on the Epic and thought it would be fun to go on a trip with the club. The ship was a big disapointment. We had an inside cabin which was very small. Its layed out in a weird configeration with a red curtain between the bed and shower. The sink is in the bedroom, so when you leave the bathroom you ...

Just got home from our Norweigan Cruise. This was our 6th cruise ,and by far the worst ever! Loved all our other cruises, but this one was horrible. Staff was either rude or unhelpful. Food menu items were nowhere up to what we are used too, an every meal was cold. Steak at Cagneys was way over cooked. Eggs Benedict at Taste was complete raw(egg whites were still clear). We spoke to the head ...
