We chose this cruise as a small group activity for 6 that included Disney World & Kennedy Space Center visits. The ship looks great in advertisements, but failed to live up to expectations. Too many people all the time at the same locations. No nooks & cranies to find a private space to gather. All activities centered on 3 decks interlocked so that any one activity was being shared by the others because locations were open & centered together on the ship. The lack of an open verenda deck limited access to various parts of the ship without walking through all other crowded area's of the ship. Lack of casual seating throughout common area's except in specific activity places, where seating was bunched together. Long streches of open corridor without any seating where small intimate seating places could have been available. Sound system's on board were always set too loud, and different activities tended to blend together due to open space design. Midship deck 6 casino was really large, noisy and filled with smoke much of the time, and you had to walk through the casino to get anywhere inside on the ship.

Dining was typical on main deck with no outstanding menu items, but buffet was above average in design and food variety. Ship's staff were competent, but in many cases showded no joy in what they were doing. All were courtious and professional, and a few went out of there way to make us feel welcome, and enjoyed our company. Shore excursions were not outstanding & we did not participate to any extent.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Cabin steward friendly & experienced, but room on small side, modern looking but functionallly not useful. Bed too short for two adults, storage not easy to use & bathroom facilities extremly difficult for senor's to use, especially at night in the dark. Rear facing cabin was great experience, but noisy with reading or napping difficult while on balconey. At 1,000+ feet long it is a long walk to everywhere for everything. Modern design of facilities NOT an asset. A good example of looking good, but not being useful.
