Our family has gone on a cruise every thanksgiving for the past 7 years. There is usually 10 of us. We have also been on about 13 other cruises at various times of the year. My in-laws chose this ship as they like the newer boats and we needed to leave out of Cape Canaveral. We have been on almost every cruise line including many Carnival and Royal Caribbean and two Disney cruises so my ...

This cruise was planned by a family member of my partner who was celebrating a milestone birthday. We booked our trip individually and was booked on the wrong week despite being sent a receipt with the correct info. We paid for transfers by NCL from airport to the ship and our names were not on the roster; they neglected to tell us the last transfer leaves the Orlando airport at 12:30 PM; My ...

Worse cruise experience ever.

Every year at thanksgiving we take a family cruise. first time on NCL. Except for the Buffet, every meal was below average. The Chinese restaurant's food was the worse. Sweet and sour pork was neither sweet or sour, just, literally, inedible. Adult pool, in Spice H2O area at ship's aft was a joke. couldn't fit more than 10 people in it comfortably. Warm water, not refreshing. The NCL concierge app ...

Having sailed NCL 3 times previously I returned after 15 years and 14 cruises on RCCL and Celebrity. From embarkation delays (over 4 hours with no NCL representative outside the terminal area to answer questions) to lengthy delays and confusion at dining rooms entrances when dinner reservations had been made to just plain poor service around the ship (pool deck / restaurants (other then specialty ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

to celebrate 60th birthday, first transatlantic, looked forward to the many days at sea. Service was very very very slow. Room was rarely made up before 3 pm. Restaurant service- took 15 minutes just to get a cola. Always took +1 hour. "Open concept" proved to be very noisy and confusing. Hard to walk through areas when large groups were in a bar. Activities on a sailing where the ...

We chose this cruise as it was repositioning across the Atlantic to Barcelona 1/4-14/4/17. When we arrived at Port Canaveral to embark it was chaotic with porters running round like headless chickens. There were badly organised queues to enter the terminal. Check in was pretty quick but there was no atmosphere from the clerk. Normally it is welcome to ............... etc, none of that, just do ...

Not the Super Ship Epic

It was NCL 's first big ship but not as good as Getaway or Escape. You would think the food choice would be the same but not on the Epic. The buffet just repeats the same poor choice many times instead of different choice. The upper decks have no way to walk around the ship like the sister ships and the pool area has too much wasted space instead of chair space or area to view whats going on on ...

It was a group cruise, we wanted to sail from Port Canaveral, and it included the drink package and dining package. It was a newer ship and we enjoy the anytime dining. We were very disappointed in the pool situation, or lack of pools for the size of the ship. The entertainment was at best mediocre. Went to a show where a lot of people actually got up and walked out. We missed one of our ...

While the restaurants and food were pretty good, the rest of our experience was not. Staff were grumpy most of the time, Charge for things to do on board like art class that was a joke and deal or no deal was just a money making opportunity for Norwegian . We had a Norwegian gift card that we received as a x-mas gift that they would not honor because the person that gave it to us had to fill ...
