Every year at thanksgiving we take a family cruise. first time on NCL. Except for the Buffet, every meal was below average. The Chinese restaurant's food was the worse. to celebrate 60th birthday, first transatlantic, looked forward to the many days at sea.
Service was very very very slow. Room was rarely made up before 3 pm.
Restaurant service- took 15 minutes just to get a cola. Always took +1 hour.

We chose this cruise as it was repositioning across the Atlantic to Barcelona 1/4-14/4/17.

It was NCL 's first big ship but not as good as Getaway or Escape. You would think the food choice would be the same but not on the Epic. The buffet just repeats the same poor choice many times instead of different choice. It was a group cruise, we wanted to sail from Port Canaveral, and it included the drink package and dining package. It was a newer ship and we enjoy the anytime dining. We were very disappointed in the pool situation, or lack of pools for the size of the ship. The entertainment was at best mediocre.
