LINES LINES & MORE LINES ~ TRANSAFRANTIC CREWS

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Upon arrival at the dock, I was greeted with a queue down the pier. The ship was running several hours later and it took more than two hours to board the ship. Not a good start. But that wasn't the end of the lines. The ship was sold out and we had to queue for everything - everything! The weather kept all of us inside the Getaway, making a very crowded ship. Showrooms large and small were ...

Quick review of transatlantic trip . I did not attend any shows apart from Harry O ( The Irish guy ) so I won’t be able to review Harry O was pretty good and certainly put people in the mood to tour Dublin and Belfast . He had a full house each time Embarkation in NY was a disaster . Got there at 1230 designated time and stood in line for four hours before getting onboard. The line was ...

First off, this was only my second cruise. First cruise was on NCL over 20yrs ago. Our cruise started out from NYC, boarding was very smooth, efficient, and staff were super nice. The food in the main dining buffet (Garden Cafe) was pretty decent and a lot of options, however after 10 days the food was very bland with some exceptions like the pepper steak, ham and cheese panini. Breakfast was ...

We loved ncl joy in 2023 and booked ncl getaway to the caribbean for april 7 – 19, 2024. we will never do the getaway again. the good stuff: the entertainment was great. the exceptional restaurants were la cucina, moderno steakhouse, shanghai noodle, and o’ sheehan’s. the taste and savor restaurants were average. the initial boarding and final exit off the ship were the best experiences we ...

Good Trip; Weather issue

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We love NCL; this was our fourth cruise with them. Started with a weather issue and Bermuda drop as a port; we did not find this out until we were in the check-in line. Not a problem, no one can control the weather! With this change, our itinerary was reversed from the original plan. NCL service is great and one of the reasons we love it; helpful staff, nice and clean public areas, pool, ...

We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...

Disappointingly little information from phone calls made before our trip began, absolutely the worst food I have ever had on a cruise ship, poorly planned and overpriced excursions, unwillingness to deal with simple requests without turning it into a confrontation. incorrect or lacking information disseminated , disappointingly mediocre entertainment, little or no help with embarkation or ...

A big disappointment

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

I hate to do this because I have had several great experiences with NCL but this cruise was HORRIBLE and a huge disappointment. Our itinerary change was announced after we set sail despite rumors and reports it was going to be changed before sailing. No fault of their own since they can’t control the weather, so I don’t have a complaint about that. They made good on offering a 20% discount ...

The worst Crusie experience ever

This was my first experience with a cruise and it definitely made me feel that I should never do it again. Everything On this ship is a pay wall and definitely not worth it for the quality of what you get…even In The crappiest hotels , I could watch tv and use Wi-Fi without having to buy a damn package as if the cost of the cruise wasn’t expensive enough. The food was horrible , the activities ...

Main dining room food terrible, long waits. Specially dining, food and staff very good. Have to beg for ice for the room , even after tipping Stewart when we came on board, They use to just put ice in your room at night. The Weather conditions changed our itinerary, not their fault. But I tried to cancel an excursion, I found out the Cavens had over 100 steps, since I bought the tickets awhile ...
