Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

We were on Celebrity summit April 1st cruise, we lost power one day, we lost water. One day, we couldn't stop at one of the ports, our internet was bad, and I reached out to them seeing if we could get some sort of compensation or refund and they said no. I'm kind of confused because I would think since we couldn't stop at one of our ports we should get a refund on the port charge and we they ...

Magnificent Magnifica

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

The Magnifica crew provided Excellent service! I Chose to carry own luggage off ship however Debarking was very organized and quickly got off the ship in less than 15 minutes. The Food was good but Europeanish so I was able to expand my palate a bit. Locs, grilled cheese and pepperoni. The freshly made pizza is delicious with many varieties and is hot and waiting which is so satisfying at ...

MSC is different, but that's not a bad thing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

The wife and I took our 10th anniversary cruise (and first cruise ever) on the MSC Divina. We were originally going to try Virgin, as the kiddos were staying home with the grands for this one, but by the time we booked Scarlet Lady was full. MSC caught our attention from YouTube and online research. The price point was hard to beat and we weren't looking for a megaship for our first time out so ...

Just my opinion on Oasis/ Seas 7 Night West Car...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Everything is a lot more crowded than you expect. You stand in line a lot. Lines for the buffet, lines for getting on and off the boat, lines for ELEVATOR, lines for any and all food or snacks. I would rather pay a bit more and travel with fewer people. Kids are everywhere unsupervised. People let their children run around by themselves. You can't get near a hot tub or pool. Even in the ...

Feeling Cuts to Pay $11 Billion Pandemic Bond Debt

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

Cruise #6 with RCI since 2012. Cost cutting to pay the $11B in pandemic bond debt has really hurt the experience. Food quality and options have declined. Service is hit or miss, with MDR and Windjammer service noticeably worse. Nickel and Diming ($20-ing and $40-ing) for things that aren't worth paying for (e.g. $35 for the escape room, $2 to play skee ball for 30 seconds) -- even the teenagers ...

Although it was an older ship, we would recommend

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Conquest

The ship is one of the older ones, I believe it was built in 2002. The outside shows the age, but has been updated very nicely inside. The entire ship was very clean and nicely maintained. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious with comfortable beds. We had a suite with a balcony and it was a perfect size for the three of us. It had a king size bed, or you could request two twins, and a ...

The food is just awful, no other way to describe. Tbe rice in the buffet put a whole new level of Al dente. Buffet is tge worst, hard to believe any chef would put that stuff out. The chairs in the Stardust are worn out, you sink so low hard to get out. Our room was clean and the bed moderately comfortable. The decks could use some paint, rusted and paint chips on the floor. Crew in the ...

After exclusively sailing on Oasis Class ships for the previous 10 years I was concerned about going down to Freedom Class with a sailing on Independence. A quick look at the recent reviews here further confirmed that this would be the worst vacation of my life… I’m very pleased to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and would absolutely sail on the Independence of the Seas again! Perhaps ...

Enjoyed our Mother-Daughter cruise. Our goal was a beach-focused cruise for 22 year old and 56 year old. We’re both experienced cruisers and have sailed Royal before as it was our family’s choice for family cruising when daughter was younger. Recently husband and I have moved back to Celebrity so i couldn’t help but view this cruise through that lens. The good: Staff was enthusiastic and ...
