One week before cruise date they shortened the trip by one day. There is no way they didn't know way before this as they had to book 1000 hotel rooms for the shortened stay. NEVER AGAIN!!!
We too were on the shortened Hawaiin Cruise of 3rd March 2018 .
Bottom line - we believe they knew the cruise was going to be shortened weeks before they notified anyone yet had no consideration to international travelers. (As evidenced by their on-line itinerary). All they were interested in was getting "Bums on seats".

From start to finish, this cruise was marked with disorganization and poor service! The embarkation (and disembarkation) were chaotic, mass cattle calls with tons of waiting in interminable lines with little or no seating! We are so disappointed in NCL. First they cut the cruise from 7 to 6 days, less than 2 weeks before embarkation. Promised to refund 1 day's cost. Have only received $10.87. Choose cruise since my husband is gluten-free and dairy free, thought a cruise would work better with his condition. We were wrong, very wrong!! Ship was not equip to handle GF and dairy free guests. Food is Motel 6 level. Worst ever. No flavour, overcooked. Steak/prime rib, not aged, grizzle & fat. I’m trying to come up with a few positive mentions, but it’s very difficult.
Pros: Most of the crew we encountered were extremely nice
Water pressure in the bathroom was great
Cons: Ship is very old and not even close to a “Luxury” cruise ship.
