Avoid this cruise line

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Encore

Where do I start. First, they booked our flights, breaking our family up, even sending us to separate airports! Second, we received our flight schedule exactly 70 days prior to sailing. I called the next day to say with our ADA daughter we can’t travel separate, plus way too short of a layover for someone with a disability. I asked if we could get new flights, preferably NOT the sail date, which ...

Horrible food and filthy bars and common areas

I won this cruise and asked my daughter, husband and grandson to join myself and my husband. We were excited to visit the Bahamas. Getting to the rooms and onboard was very easy. We bought the beverage package for all 4 of us and the bubbles package for our grandson. The first night we ate Guy Fieris Burger Bar which was great! My grandson had the pizza which was also good. Plenty of frozen ...

Worst cruise ever - NCL has really gone down hill

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Our 2nd cruise with NCL was a disaster. Staff were rude and miserable. Food was meh. Service at Taste and Savour was a disaster - service was so bad it took 2 hours to eat and we were late for events. They only cleaned our room once a day and our bunk beds remained in place - it was never cleaned until 4 pm everyday. Staff were rude!!! We were supposed to go to Bermuda but they took us to ...

Boring and Low Class

If you want a high end experience , this isn’t it . We were looking forward to experiencing Virgins superior reputation and we were disappointed. We have been on Royal Caribbean and Disney in the past 20 years. We are both not lovers of cruises at all. We have cruised 5 times prior to this . We were looking forward to experiencing an upper level cruise and this was not it. Royal Caribbean and the ...

Way too many flaws

Straight to the point. First and last trip on Virgin Voyages. • Wi-Fi connection the worst! • Their app constantly crashed, was slow, and buggy. Other reviews here mention the same. Worst app execution! -Selling point is that you can make a reservation at the restaurant you want at the time that it suits you. The app wouldn’t allow you to rebook a restaurant you ...

to start with our room carpet was dirty-and someone craped in toilet to leave us a gift ,apparently this was not cleaned prior to us getting room. the first port of call was there private island where they ran out of hamburger buns. The second night in dinning room the food was terrible and service almost as bad. The same thing the second visit dining room . I purchased a ring for my wife and ...

Worst cruise ever!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Encore

This was our eighth cruise and definitely the worst one ever. This ship can hold up to 5000 passengers. It was very crowded. There was one pool for 5000 passengers. When we disembarked there was only one gateway open which meant it took over an hour to get off the ship at each port. Wait times were long everywhere-in the restaurants, the buffet and guest service lines. It seems that the ...

Very disappointing

Ship has some design flaws! Loved the decor everywhere and the many more choices of where to eat within the cost of the holiday. Liked the water fountains built in, great idea. Bathrooms were designed better than the Azura (with shower curtains!) and the Britannia. The balconies on deck 8 were horrendous though! We paid £1000 more on a saver fare to have a balcony between the two of us. We always ...

Garbage Ship

The Ncl ship used to be good to travel in. However my recent experience (March 2023) was a total disappointment. See below some notably drastic changes we experienced before, during and after the trip to 5 ports from nyc: 1) kids ages 5 and under were in one of 4 hot pools without parent supervision 2) this ship used to have 2 hot pools on upper deck and those are now gone 3) the ...

Epic Mistake

We chose this ship because we had previously sailed on it 3 times. The ship was oversold. We were never able to see a show. Shower backed up and was never repaired even though we reported it several times. The ship is dark and carpet patched every where. Men were required to wear long pants in the Manhattan dining room at dinner, however service was lacking and food cold. They advertise 43 items ...
