Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

Carnival is trying to save money by using less staff and other techniques. No one item is major in itself. When all negative items are combined, it makes for a poor vacation experience. 1. All hot tubs were lukewarm and no bubble aeration 2. Some entrees in MDR were so small (like grilled shrimp), you need to double order. Side dishes were teaspoon sized vegetables. No cocktail person ...

We ran into the hurricane. Ship floated outside of New York to Baltimore for 5 days. They did not show first run movie, made excuses for entertainment. Ran a movie at 6:pm to 9:00 pm and then there was no dinner. Had pizza at indoor pool. Food at Windjammer always cold. We usually sail NCL which has 24 hour O'Sheehans, so you can always get food. Royal needs a lot of attention, We went on ...

We went on an anniversary cruise for our 18th wedding anniversary. My bride's luggage was promptly lost on the ship. After five days of battling with staff it was placed in our cabin, The staff fought me with tooth and nail because it could not have been Carnivals fault. The cabin was over air conditioned and had to be adjusted by staff six different times. Food on the ship is not up to the ...

First of all people are very friendly. Ship is in need of refurbishment badly. Mold in bathroom, furniture dirty, drawers banged up and lots of rust throughout ship. Entertainment was great. Food was sub Par breakfast in dining room took 1 1/2 hours. Food was delivered cold and orders messed up. Tried 3 times in 8 days same thing. Had to go to windjammer to only get lukewarm food. We made the best ...

I was on the Sept 8 sailing. Ship needs update with 1 specialty restaurant. It seemed like 75% of the passengers were seniors. I have never seen so many walkers, wheel chairs, and canes; as well as really sick and frail. I saw 2 babies and a couple of teenagers. The entertainment reflected that, with boring piano music, 50s dance party, etc. The vibe was Nursing Home. I was glad I did not ...

This was my first time on American Cruise Lines. We wanted to see some of New England. We flew into Providence, RI and stayed at the cruise line recommended Hotel. The hotel was overpriced and not helpful about what to do in Providence. The cruise line had a welcome package, but no information about Providence. We missed a great Italian restaurant area that we did not find out about until the next ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

We were comped this cruise for gambling but it wasn't free after paying port, taxes, applications, tips and upgrade. If I had to do it again, I would reconsider. Starting with all the stress and anxiety with a Bermuda cruise, that in itself, would keep me home. We needed covid test. To be sure, when I called the number they supplied for Bermuda, I was instructed the monday before we left. ...

First and foremost - the crew was fantastic. They always did what they could to make the trip more enjoyable for guests. It seemed like their hands were tied due to staff shortages. It took far too long to order a drink. For a couple of days the bar's system was down so the crew had to write the account and room numbers down by hand to charge you. Obviously this led to a plethora of incorrect ...

The Worst Carnival Cruise Everrrr!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Legend

First of all the ship was very outdated. There were rust stains on the ceiling, lamp shades were tattered and torn (I have pictures), carpets faded, etc. I understand the ship is old but definitely needs to be refurbished. There seemed to be no real protocol when it comes to Covid. Not enough opportunities for handwashing, especially in close proximity to food. People were just allowed to touch ...

SHIP NEEDS HELP!!

Enchantment of the Seas cruises out of Baltimore MD which is close to us. This was the first ship we had ever cruised on back in 2010. We enjoyed it back then because it's a smaller ship and we like that. It was also going to Bermuda for a day and we LOVE Bermuda! That being said, unfortunately this ship is very dated and still has most of the features it had when we first sailed on it. We ...
